They have to pick a color scheme. Pink is a popular color, and one that many women prefer. So they pick pink. What is the problem here? I think it looks great.

Oh, sorry. Did I mention Starcraft when you're busy arguing about how the colour pink makes you uncomfortable?

I guess those scary pushes/pressures was enough to convince some people that Aphrodite will win this best of series. I don't know if she'll win in the end, but she's definitely competitive. I think a lot of people just took for granted that Scarlett would take the whole tournament and might have been surprised to see that Aphrodite can give her a run for her money.

It can be considered to enforce the stereotypic picture of girls loving pink, horses and barbiedolls (horses and barbiedolls just randomy picked out of other stereotypic things that girls are supposed to love). And generally speaking, enforcing stereotypes can be considered contraproductive in a tournament that otherwise tries to break stereotypes (ie that only guys likes games, or at least competitve ones such as starcraft).

I think it looks great. thats why the entire layout is in pink as well i suppose? it makes them females first and gamers second. the organizers are telling me the reason i am watching is because theyre women, not because its starcraft.
