I think it might be an slightly an over reaction to just leave it all, but it's also weird that they would punish aurora for eve picking a map that isn't in the map pool (which I guess is what happened?). | ||

Map pick rules from the tournament website: Best of 3 - All Rounds: Each player eliminates 3 maps from the map pool. Player with the highest seed starts first. Of the 3 maps remaining, player with higher seed picks Map 1 for the series, then player 2 picks Map 2 for the series. The map remaining will be the 3rd Ace Map of the series. So maps are pre-picked by players. I guess Eve had a higher seed than AuRora and picked Metropolis as 3rd map, which isn't in the pool. Strange reaction from ESL though. It looks like Metropolis is in the OP, but Dual Sight is in its place on the rules page. I'm guessing they changed it due to the Metropolis lag bugs, but forgot to update the TL thread OP... | ||

So the frontpage here and the ESL website contradict eachother when it comes to the mappool. Looks like ESL messed that one up quite a bit and AuRora had to suffer for it. Shame  | ||

Day Break LE - MLG Metalopolis - Shattered Temple - Shakuras Plateau - Entombed Valley - Tal'darim Altar LE - GSL Dual Sight - MLG Antiga Shipyard -Ohana LE All that needed to happen was a regame of game 3. Not the entire series. She states that Eve wanted to play Metro, but that doesn't matter as players are never allowed to "agree" on different maps to play that are not in the map pool. She decided she did not want to do game 3 again, and forfeited. | ||
