Apparently you are dropping the fees. How is this all going to work out now? Sponsor's money?

"The NE-SE is now free to participate in with the same prize pools. All players that already PAID and registered will remain registered for the tournament. All players that have an account on the NE-SE web site but are not paid members need to go to navigate to their NE-SE profile page and under the “My Account” tab upgrade their account in order to register for the tournament. The system will be undergoing maintenance based on this development until October 15th. All players will receive a full refund by October 15th that have already provided payment. All players will be able to begin registering for the tournament on October 15th if they are not already registered. There is a limited amount of registrations available so be sure to sign up as soon as possible. All official dates will be announced on October 15th regarding the new Season Schedule for the NE-SE" I don't understand what is trying to be said here, or why something as simple as "it's going to be free to register now" needs to be made to look so confusing. Some people in the bnet comments says it still requires money to register. So it's going to be free to register but you still have to pay until the 15th, at which point you will refund everyone's money. Why not stop taking money now if your plan is to just give it all back?

As a paying member of the NE-SE you can not only expect a full refund of your entry fee by October 15th as well, but you will also be automatically transitioned to a registered member in the new system. Well it's the 18th and we've heard nothing and received no refund. Seeing as how they sent the email telling us of the changes 3 days after the tournament was suppose to start was also complete failure. I also signed up for this based on the fact it was on: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/ homepage. I understand ultimately it's my own choice but you would figure they would vet the tournament creators in some way or another. Oh well if they don't refund and don't have the tournament I will have some issues.

It's taking awhile to process the Pay-Pal returns due to some limit on the amount of refunds Pay-Pal can process in a day but it's in the works. The tourney appears to have been pushed to next year.
