Glad I was able to get in today instead of having to wait until after the holiday closure.
haven't posted in forever but holy hell man that sucks. Hope things turn out okay for you.
also out of curiousity is the discord thing still going (I know its been forever)? I may try to join that if I ever get around to using discord.

Had my post surgery follow up appointment and it went pretty well. My stitches are out now and I can start PT as soon as I can schedule it.
Bad news, however, is that my company's insurance provider has denied my worker's comp claim, so now I have to take it to court. They think they can weasel out of it because my issue is basically carpel tunnel, but for the elbow instead of the wrist, so it's not a clear cut "thing fell on me and broke my [insert bone here]." situation. Yeah, that's not gonna fly.

Do people even still use this thread?
Hello?

I'm always looking for stuff people have to say here, but I guess it's served its time. People moved on.

For all those who still visit here: merry xmas and may you get some good gifts for this and the next year.

Not sure where to post this, but Remilia passed away. She was a massive inspiration on me in my journey of discovering myself as a trans woman and I am extremely devastated by the news. May she rest in peace

Yeah, I saw that and it sucks. At least she won't have to deal with the constant pain from her sloppy surgery anymore. =[
k0u passed away early this month too.

I'm still here reading posts if someone wonders why activity is so low, but often I don't have much to say.
Oh, and a very very late happy new years folks.

Long time no update.
Started PT early December. The numbness hasn't fully gone away, but the specialist/surgeon said the optimistic time table was 3 months after surgery and it has been improving, some days feeling almost normal. I went back to work on the 21st and things were going fine until late yesterday when my hand started feeling concerningly numb again so I went home early. Had to call off today since the night's rest didn't alleviate it and right now I'm just crossing my fingers that it didn't get screwed up again, which I knew was a possibility. If it did get screwed up again, I will need to find another job.

Dang, hope it's just a flare up of sorts and it calms down asap.

Jesus. KotoR1 on hard mode might be one of the hardest games i've ever played on hard mode. Just played / completed the game for the first time. Well, not even game... most of it was trivial, and then that last boss.
I think I died more to that last boss than I did to the entire soulsborne collection combined. Wtf that was difficult. Granted probably half my deaths were due to gameplay bugs from the port to PC, but still. I looked it up just now, dude has like 3x higher stats than anything else in the game... lol.
My build literally had maxxed dodge and hit chance on everything else in the game, and the final boss I have 35% hit chance, and 23% dodge chance. Zzz...
