Prescription strength ibuprofen 3 times a day for 2 weeks and to go back if it doesn't clear up. I mentioned the muscle loss and he said he wasn't able to give a diagnosis for that and gave me a number for a hand specialist, which I expected.

Just had a nice chat to request an appointment since the office is closed.

Cubital tunnel syndrome, which will require an elbow surgery, and once that heals and recovers will need to be examined again to check if I need another surgery on my wrist. Fucking yay.

That sucks man. At least now you know what it is and have a path to recovery. Hope it all works out. I had to have small surgery done on my hand last year and was freaking out the whole time. We'll all here if you want to vent

Had a surgery planned that is now being delayed because of paperwork turnover. Disability is a large question mark so now I need to get Worker's Comp involved, which might push back the time table a long while.

The cost of the surgery won't be bad, it's being able to afford the recover time that's the problem now.

Worker's Comp claim is throwing extra bullshit into the process. I'm required to get it checked out by their doctors, adding more time and cost into this whole bullshit when I just want to get it over with. I'm done trying to cooperate the best I can and when I see their approved doctor I am going to ask directly if I should be working right now.

They're gonna have to deal with hell if I have to delay this shit AGAIN.

I fucking hate this country.

Went in for an emergency appointment. Something in the dressing they gave me or one of the surgery soaps game me an allergic reaction, so in addition to my upper arm being almost entirely one large bruise, the area around my elbow in a ring of puss blotches. Given a special soap to wash with, a steroid to take, and will be going dressing free from now on.

Glad I was able to get in today instead of having to wait until after the holiday closure.

I think you should try to figure out what's in the dressing/soap that made you swell up, this way you'll know what to avoid specifically (an ingredient) instead of avoiding something generally (a class of foods).

Man... I dont even know what to say by now. You just cant get a break. Good to hear they at least let you go home allergic reactions are no joke. Stay strong, Gahlo fighting!
