They're pretty common across the country and are more active in daylight than most owls, especially in the morning. If you hoot at them they might even hoot back because they will mistake you for another owl invading their territory, and their call is pretty easy to imitate. | ||

he wasn't very responsive but I also didn't look up what type of call to imitate, after looking around the internet last night I have a distant memory of learning the "who cooks for you?" somewhere.I also had an authentic banh mi for lunch today, was pretty good! | ||
