i prefer the originals too, but they're not on youtube QQ
I wouldn't say that those songs up there are pop covers though. I think they do a good job of trying to capture the point of the originals while giving the sound their own take.

Frog x 2, devolve x 2, silence x 4. Don't matter what you do, they turn all your threats into care-bears next turn.
you need to kill the flametongues and keep the board as clear as possible.
A huge part of miracle is knowing when to use spells and when to save them for auctioneer turns. it's a very hard deck to play. but that matchup is shaman favored by a good margin (57-43) according to some of the aggregate sites.
So dont get too upset about the bad matchup and try to do your best to play only as many spells as you need to not die.
Currently my biggest frustration is That i go climb with shaman, run into 0 priests, swap to hunter, and get priests 4/6 games. Im the least lucky player.
That video you linked is only one of this song's versions though (it's both shorter and has the additional verse), finding them can be a pain (I did that one for karaoke and I had trouble getting one version fine). + Show Spoiler +
Songs like that or Skyfall are easier for me to sing than typical pop stuff because I can push harder to hide that I sing badly. Feels weird when you realise it. That and most people sing them so wrong it ends up easy to sound decent compared to them, even if you're failing.
The music video and the woman's voice are great.
As for covers I stil prefer Regina Spektor's more. Gandhi's singer got a nice voice but it just... doesn't fit the mood?
Wave, how about the cover for "With a little help from my friends" or Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower? Killing me Softly's not bad either, but the original's a balad so it sounds kind of weird, while it fits Perry Como so well.
Re: Miracle Rogue, you technically don't need all the legendaries. Miracle's really an engine and you can switch up the wincons depending on what you want/have. Cold Bloods + Deckhands + Leroy, questing + Edwin, Arcane Giants, Sherazin, Malyrogue for pseudo-OTK... plenty of stuff. Thalnos is great because of the versatility, spell power when you need it, cantrip, cheap card so usable on big turns too... and it fits other classes/decks too, and it's a classic set card so it won't rotate.
I ended up singing it because I saw the lyrics quoted somewhere and I wondered what it looked like—and at the same time "oh so that's what the chorus was singing in that Joe Cocker song after hearing it for years"—and it was pretty, uh... different. I think they both have merits because one isn't trying to just redo the other, and you don't get the same things out of both.
Hm... the Ringo version fits the light-hearted mood and parody better, clearly. The Joe version stands as its own song and the execution's great, but it's a bit weird to hear that style once you've learnt the context of the song.

not all their songs up but a fair selection
It's weird because the version you linked isn't the actual version of the song. At least, the one released on the White album. It's still totally nonexistent on Youtube.
Probably my favourite of all their songs if I had to pick. I really prefer their experimental/progressive stuff to the older pop.
When I first linked this off the official VEVO I discovered it wasn't even the whole song. What the hell is the deal with Beatles songs being so damn copyright intensive?
Anyway this version hasn't been found by the man yet, I think because there's a little wonkiness in the file somewhere. At least it's the whole song.
Just opened Darkest Dungeon for the first time in a long time since the DLC is out. Just picked up an Antiquarian and... why would anybody ever bring this character? It seems all it does is buffs/debuffs and a shitty heal.

they get bonus loot, first of all, second their stuff is actually pretty solid, especially protect me.

It's almost 6 AM and I'm tired and I'm surely missing some context anyway, but Strawberry Fields Forever didn't click with me. Especially the chorus, I get that it being this repetitive and kind of... monotone? I know it isn't but it's the feeling it's been giving me, is intended to produce that unsettling effect, but I just can't get into the song partly because of it, so the song doesn't speak to me at all.
This pack RNG is too good <3. Just pulled a Corpse Flower, then next pack pulled a gold Paladin quest. Thanks Blizz. 3200 Dust for freeee, along with the priest quest.
I know y'all said Thalnos better than Patches, but Patches is used in both decks I play so I crafted him.
Not bad for a week worth of play and buying only the intro pack / Kharazan.
Thinking of subbing cold-blood with Shadowstep because i feel like it preforms much better against the shit that has been kicking my ass; and when played with VanCleef is pretty much the same thing as Cold Blood but with defense. But also lets your Auctioneer stay alive another turn. I also wouldn't mind throwing Red Mana Wyrm back in instead of Questing Adventurer; I feel like the moment you summon QA other guy is all over its nuts, but everyone sleep on RMW. I won a ton more games with RMW when I had it in then I ever have with QA. RMW w/ coin'd Coldblood at turn 5 is 10/6 (maybe a little win more, just a 6/6 RMW at turn 5 is pretty tits., much more self-sufficient win-condition compared to QA which either requires turns of sluffing or Auctioneer. I like QA's mana-curve a little more though, Miracle feels weird if I can't pop-off with 4-5 card combo's at any second.
That being said, I love how much pressure Cold Blood puts out. Feels so awesome to slightly boost VanCleef or Questing Adventurer with a regular minion Cold-Blood'ed. I find most decks can't handle when you summon 2 big threats like that after you've been pressuring them already and you get to either chunk them pretty good or just auto win board control. Like turn 3 or 4 and they like "fuck do I deal with the 5/5 or the 7/3?". Fits my aggro style I think, but maybe that's a weakness more than anything, I dunno.
My Druid Aggro Token deck is budget as all hell, but i still winning like 65% of my games with it at rank 15. + Show Spoiler +
# 2x (0) Innervate # 2x (1) Bloodsail Corsair # 2x (1) Enchanted Raven # 2x (1) Fire Fly # 1x (1) Hungry Crab # 2x (1) Mark of the Lotus # 1x (1) Patches the Pirate # 1x (2) Golakka Crawler # 2x (2) Mark of Y'Shaarj # 2x (2) Power of the Wild # 1x (3) Ironbeak Owl # 2x (3) Pantry Spider # 2x (3) Savage Roar # 2x (3) Tar Creeper # 2x (3) Vicious Fledgling # 1x (4) Swipe # 1x (5) Druid of the Claw # 2x (7) Volcanosaur
At some point those Pantry Spiders will be replaced with Living Mana, and the Volcanosaur's with Bittertide Hydra. Not sure if I like Ironbeak better or Dire Wolve Alpha; same dilemma as Shadowstep / Cold Blood. I wouldn't mind replacing the Swipe (or maybe Druid of the Claw?) with a Genzo, but that might be a little luxury. I think after like turn 5 the deck sucks real real bad as is but it just doesn't matter at the level I play at. Too hard to contain token gen with that much full board boost, game usually over by then or close enough that I can sneak out the win a few turns later. I could see a Shaman just wrecking me though, haven't really run into one.
Maybe another 5 years. Feels like it took them that long just to give us 9 more deck slots and even that was a hack, real side boards would require real UI. A lot of the tech cards are also not designed with sideboards in mind so that could definitely screw up the balance of pirates, murlocs, and secrets. Secret mage is not very scary if you could just sub in 2x eater of secrets every time.
...oh yeah, that's the other thing, side boards require multiple matches against the same person and that is not how it works right now. Maybe if they add some kind of tournament-ish mode in the future.
I finally figured out how to mechanically execute rescue missions in Kerbal Space Program. Could never figure out how to slow my ship down and steer the Kerbal without things going horribly wrong. I feel pretty accomplished now that I can do it (I even repeated the feat, so it wasn't a fluke).
I've spent like the last year trying to figure out the last stupid little bit that I kept messing up. It helped I finally got a good save where I could spacewalk repeatedly during a rescue until I got the controls and the speed matching down. Now I can rescue the last few Kerbals and then head to the Mun!
