I'm fuckin' burned out but the new place is sweet. So many things left to do... Thankfully my T-Mobile plan has 14GB of tethering available. I'd go insane if I couldn't be streaming some things while unpacking. Just gotta make it til tomorrow. | ||

It was an adventure. Props to my brother for putting up with it. We started really well, being incredibly efficient with getting the big stuff down the stairs and into his van. The second trip was...less graceful. I may or may not shitlord tomorrow for Iris: Blades. I should have internet, but it kinda depends on how I'm feeling at the end of the day. | ||

Believe me I have shitlorded for move-related exhaustion in the past and I would again. Moving is THE WORST. I'm so happy right now because I'm going to continue my lease with my current landlord and it'll be the first time I don't have to move during the summer for FIVE YEARS (maybe four, whatever). Even now I'm starting to think about permanent homes because moving is so. bad. (Also, renting, but still) So yeah, no shade for shitlording if you want. Moving blowz. I don't like moving. | ||

I guess it really just depends on what people are up to/want and when I can truly come back and whether or not we'll be returning to the main campaign. Edit: I'd also love to try my hand at dming something iris-related one day, but the task seems pretty daunting for a first timer who doesn't have a while lot of time on his hands. | ||

For something more general, I would suggest EVERYONE who wants to run a tabletop game but hasn't start with something like Dungeon World or other PbtA games. Beyond simpler mechanics and fiction first gameplay, PbtA systems tend to focus on some great core principles for being a GM and the more I GM, the more I find them to be valuable. It helps that I've been watching a lot of Adam Koebel's Office Hours. | ||

Stuck in contract till november on flat so last of my savings will be dwindling away. I don't mind living with other people but she has bad social anxiety so that's not really an option. And it's central London so cheap 1 bedroom flats are non existent. It's just... I dunno she hasn't really worked a proper salaried job and this was her big chance and it was all looking so good and now this. She got 1 month's wages which i guess is some help.... But i don't know... It's tough when you love a person but they contribute nothing financially... kind of bums me out big time... | ||
