Music TuesdayMonday:
It does things during battlerite too. We should play tonight.
Yeah, I noticed. It's decently nice for some peripheral vision info actually, but it's not nearly as flashy as OW.
I'm down to play tonight. Iva is bae.

Idk, I really like the way the Chroma looks. The clickety-clackity has already made me hate my work keyboard though

There are times I really miss playing in concert band. I played in a couple regional bands a couple times. Speed learning a few songs in a weekend was a pretty epic feel.
allstate orchestra was a lot of fun. i remember there was a girl who played the french horn, and on day 2 we got to her solo part during rehearsal and all of a sudden she goes silent a couple bars in, and it turns out she had fainted.

I technically already have enough games to play atm from Steam Sales, but can anyone recommend me a game with a good/rewarding loot system (outside of MMO's).
Weird request for a game recommendation, but it can be any genre (FPS, hack n slash, TBS, etc.) D3 has desensitized me to feeling good when loot drops lol
I may have finished Commando by then. Guess it decides which ongoing game I finish next (tho there's no Neo or moonbear anymore to bait with a best girl ranking once I've done Hanako's route).
Re: Commando, anyone played them here? The pretty old games, yes, which are (sadly) less about stealth infiltration than piecing out how to kill every single enemy on the map without the garrison buildings hearing an alarm. That fact, along with how the mechanics work, and the very "fail-and-retry" nature of the thing (no way to zoom for example, when your clicking needs to be very accurate to skirt the edge of a vision field, and such things), made an initially enjoyable game into a somewhat tedious task. I got the whole trilogy off a steam promo awhile ago, and I was wondering whether the sequels improve that, or at least the gameplay/clunky aspects of it, if not reducing the necessary blood baths. If not, I don't think I'll touch them before a long while.

I played PoE for awhile, but I never made it to "endgame", and got bored/frustrated because I was dying all the time/felt underleveled/undergeared, and was playing by myself the entire time.

Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime.
Also, I can't tell if I like or hate "The OA".
That's because you have to do your research before choosing a build. You can't reliably reach 'endgame' without an item/skill/stat build that will perform well.

We've been watching Orange is the New Black. I feel the same way about that.
Thinking of buying myself a headset after like... 6 years without one. Any recommendations? Preferably ones that well comfortable with glasses on. Not sure how much they generally cost now but below 200 would be nice.

girlfriend just got a siberia 200 very good for the price point. but if you are looking at something closer to 200 you could get a nice 5.1 pair instead. Its way more comfortable than my headset and she wears glasses and doesnt mind it.
I can confirm Steelseries Siberia V2 is very good with glasses, at least for me, very heavy use (12+ hours at a time). Really like it but am not knowledgeable enough to compare it to other headsets.

This is what I have. I had to get a usb converter to use the mic with my laptop (my laptop only has one 10 mm port) but other than that sound quality is good and the mic is good for gaming. But $200 is enough money that if you wanted to make videos, stream, or simply sound super slick you could get a quality stand-alone microphone with pop filter (good entry-level ones cost $85-95) and use the rest on a pure headset. If I had $200 for it that's what I'd do, in terms of mic quality a headset will never match a stand alone and while I haven't researched dedicated headphones much their sound probably could surpass expensive headsets.
But as a budget option just go with the siberia. Can also confirm it's comfortable with glasses.

I threw out the $200 ceiling cause I have little idea of what the market is like lol. The siberia look really good though so I think I'll just stick with it. Thanks!

if it only has 1 port is it a 4 pole port? cause it comes with an adapter for that too which is nice so you can use it for your phone and stuff if you want to advertise how nerdy you are while you walk around.
