So I've dusted my computer and oiled the fans, gfx card temp is a bit better, mainly it cools faster if I tab out etc.

The real dilemma is that I have a JP 3DS XL and my brother has an NA 3DS, so the other question is whether I want to monopolize my brother's 3DS or not.
It's also really strange that the JP 3DS is region-free for regular DS games...

Isn't stats in FE rng based?
I know they have 'avg growth rates' but it's rng based whether or not they get the stat growth?

It is, but since you can manipulate the RNG, you can pretty reliably level up the stats with 40%+ or so rates. When it's down to something like 15% however...
Also maxing all the stats means you need to combine several low rates almost every level.
