Noob question here. Trying to surprise my wife for xmas with tv (I know lol) but we've just used netflix/chromecast for everything but she likes her wheel of fortune/jeopardy in the evenings. So I'm trying to figure out how to hook up an antenna without her noticing while she's always home and I have to work 50 hours this week if I want to take xmas off .
Anyways I have the antenna now and the coaxial cable is only like 10ft. The previous owners ran the internet/cable through the outside to the crawlspace as well as a cable from the dish on the roof down the side to the crawlspace as well. From what I can tell there's a cable that runs from the room I want it in to the crawlspace. I've never had to look into this before. I'm assuming they all meet up in the crawlspace... I know I moved the cable for the internet from one room to the other so I have that experience. I want/should have the antenna in my attic so my question in all of this what's the easiest way to go about this... figure out a way to run the cable from attic to the crawlspace so it hooks up with w/e is down there? Or there's existing surround sound etc cable running from the attic for sure down the closets and right next to the coaxial outlet. This is probably the easiest for me to do but am I losing something but not taking it all the way down and just not using the outlet? Lol I have no idea how I'll get this done by Saturday.
The less drilling holes in the attic/crawlspace the better but whatever will get me the best results is probably worth

But I think my wiring credentials stop just short of "Plugging in the USB" & "Hooking up the VCR back when that was a thing."

Current deck, I've used Mage to unlock Rogue and stuck to that for now.
The goal is to use the charge minions and hero power to try to get early board dominance and let me drop bigger minions like the Magma Rager/buff them with SSC so I can start hitting hard. Poison+Weapon are here for that too. Assassinate is there to let me deal with the big ones since I don't much for that, esp. since I lack taunts or stuff. Fan of knives is pretty much my only board clear though, so I'd have trouble against that (I'm guessing Paladin, Shaman and Hunter are the ones who do that?).
Ironically I've had more trouble in practice than PvP, because the AI decks are full of taunt minions and I have a hard time getting rid of them. Sap only buys time, and they usually have other cards you want to use Assassinate on. The Warrior AI was a bitch as it has 6+ minions with taunt, and its hero power lets it stall till he gets heavy hitters on the board and then I lose everything just to get rid of them (or plain die).
One of the PvP games was versus a druid who dropped a darkscale healer and boosted it to 8/9 Taunt, and a few turns later did the same with a Storwind Champion boosted to 6/10 taunt the turn it was dropped. The druid's ability to generate mana to cast combos, and to get a lead (a card added a mana crystal iirc) seems super strong. At least it was scary for me, and I made up for the previous lack of RNG by having an Assassinate in my hand for 2 turns both times he dropped a huge minion, which let me clear it and finish him since he didn't have much else.
By the way, what happens if someone has more than 10 cards in his hand? Does he choose which ones to discard? I'm wondering if that could be one use for Vanish. The basic Rogue cards seem to give her a pretty meh late game, without the combo ones. That's probably why if I draw badly or fail to play aggro (played too scared my first few games) I feel boned if it gets to 8+ mana.

You want more 2x of cards instead of a bunch of 1-of so your deck is more consistent. magma rager is a terrible card because any weenie creature can trade with it.

It sounds like you have a bunch of cables and are trying to figure out where they go and if you need to drill new ones? For extremely low effort you can spend money and get a device that you screw onto one end of a coaxial cable and screw the other end on to the other end and then it beeps if it conducts. For more effort you can rig up a 1/4" TS plug to coaxial NPT adapter and then run 1 channel audio through it and connect the other side to a speaker/amplifier (to achieve the same affect for less money). For the most effort (and also kind of dangerous) you can tie electrical wiring to the ground and + leads on the coaxial cable and then run a battery on one end of the cable and use a voltmeter (or LED? - poor man's voltmeter) to figure out which end of the cable comes from where.

If you have 10 cards in your hand the next card you draw is destroyed you don't get to choose. Magma rager is also a pretty bad card imo. could take it out for a 3/2 for 2 mana card that it feels like your deck may be lacking. There are no good free ones tho.

Hmm, you are right in that I'm trying to figure out where things go. I'm seeing it like this but could be wrong: Option 1) I buy a coax extension, run it through the ceiling/closet where I already know the speaker cables are run and just hook it up directly to tv through existing literal hole in the drywall. Option 2) Obviously there's some existing structure in the crawlspace where the cable/dish cable is run to and I assume goes to the existing coax outlet(?) right next to the above mentioned literal hole in the wall. This option seems more difficult because instead of dropping a cable through a hole in the ceiling I have to get it through the wall into the crawlspace or through the floor into the crawlspace.

Have you guys ever driven a sports car without ABS, only having rear wheel drive, no weight in the back, no snow tires in a snow storm? I never lose control, I just slide with style.
In related news, I think once my finances are a little stronger (read "in a couple months), I'll be looking at a Mazda 3 or 6 for my new car.

But if you get more than 10 cards because of a "send minion back to hand" card? The magma rager was something that helped me when I drew well enough that I had a clean board so it could survive being played, then start dealing damage. I guess it's a shit card if I'm not already hugely ahead. :|

I'm guessing that if you had 10 cards in your hand and someone sent a minion back to your hand it would be destroyed. but thats a good question.
or if they have 8 cards in their hand and you sent 3 minons back i believe they are processed in the order that they were played therefore the last minion that was played would be destroyed. just my best guess. other things work in this processing order like if two sylvanas kill each other, who mind controls first.
