If they were the same color, you might think he only has 1 SSC in his whole deck. This was more important in Magic since you could have up to 4 of a given card and sideboarding was a thing. edit: Example. The current "frost giants" deck that won Managrinds ran 1 Flamestrike. Most players copy paste. Lets say you play someone in a bo5. Game 1 they use a Golden and game 2 they use a standard. Now you know their deck is actually running 2 Flamestrikes and for games 3-5 you might play differently with that knowledge. | ||

It's definitely less of a thing in Hearthstone though, but just something I get a bit fussy about lol. | ||

edit: I guess they could Brewmaster a normal SSC and then be forced to discard a Golden SSC with Soulfire. Fwahahaha. Now I have an advantage over al you bastards that disenchant the normal SSC! This is probably why Cixah isn't first place. | ||
