Why? As long as you're not over the top with it I see no reason why it's worse that LoL skins. As far as the game itself goes, it feels like a "choose your own adventure" novel in card form. I think that's cool. because lol ski nis pay money -> get immediately benefit kickstarter is pay money -> hope you get benefit 1-2 years later
Okay fair enough. It's a form of gambling, I grant you. But at least the stuff you're gambling on is cool.

That's what the mystery gifting was for.

It's not all game stuff though. Like there have been Kickstarters to revive dead podcasts (Yay Retronauts!) and there is a much quicker turnaround time on that sort of stuff. Totally a gamble though for game stuff.

As I posted that I thought you wouldn't have any of the necessary tools but it's for the greater good. Currently, food is a priority in my life that I have just high enough to keep me alive. I love eating, and I enjoy cooking, I'm just too lazy to do it myself when there are games to be played. This describes my eating habits very well sadly. My diet consists of whats easiest always.

I actually find cooking to be more convenient.
I always think that fast food would be more convenient, but that means I have to get in my car, drive, wait in line, order food, get food, go back to car, drive home.
Better to just walk to the fridge and get stuff and cook it. Bonus points for simple recipes like grilled cheese sandwiches.

cooking is damn fun, cleaning up isn't.
