That's happened to me before: dw, as long as you can win ground missions, you're still in it. It's not until you get into either a major fatigue/wound spiral or you fall so far behind in research even light abductions become challenging that the game is well and truly over. Losing countries won't necessarily lead to a loss, since you can always retake them: the main issue with losing countries you haven't taken is that alien research increases from holding countries. And generally another alien base assault (if you're going for the Savior Second Wave option, mandatory base assault). | ||
