C-Span is great until they do the (Republican/Democrat/Independent) caller segments. Those are literal cancer. Also yes. French politics are arguably worse than US politics. | ||

(Please correct me if I'm wrong) It can open up the doors and power to spy agencies (NSA, in our case). The NSA isn't really controlled by our government. They might be a government agency, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have dirt on most of our politicians in power. This can influence how they do things. Removing the barriers to personal privacy seems like a pretty bad choice all around. edit - note, this is a very cursory and generalist view of the situation | ||
