I was stunned when I learnt it was being voted because I didn't think the way the original wording about it was even legal without changing several stuff in our country. ._. I guess they changed a bit of that (providers are exactly that: providers; they were originally supposed to cut access to some content if the government told them to do so, which I'm pretty sure is still illegal and maybe removed from that law), but there's still so much retardation and murky shit in what they passed... Frenchies are dumbasses. They're not even appalled by what happened, for a good portion of them. Most of our "old" population is also stereotypical of the "gullible ignorant old racist xenophobe afraid of change" which doesn't help. It's usually said that a bunch of the issues in poor districts comes, not from ethnic origin/culture, but social backgound and lack of education, but so much of the population is grossly uneducated on these kind of issues and easily manipulated. Urgh. Not that I'm exactly educated or not gullible myself, mind you, but there's a whole other level to swallow all the stuff the media throw at us. | ||
