Every time evo or something is on I watch bits of it, but I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Unless there's something like one of the guys is some "pokey" champion and the other has to get past ranged attacks to all in, then all I see is two people dashing backwards and forwards until one of them punches the other.
Like, I get that they're positioning for space, and feinting and whatever, but I have absolutely no frame of reference for what that means in terms of input/skill/timing/whatever.

James Chen is really good about explaining things from what I found. Wathcing SF4 with him on actually makes me appreciate the game a lot more on a competitive level cause it usually looks real boring lol

Wave, you might find this funny. Last night my friends and me spent the night playing MtG together. Before my one friend showed up another one and me were playing 1v1. I was playing a Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood combo deck.
It was my turn 6, I had Exquisite Blood out already and my Acorn Catapult. 5 mana as I managed to play 1/turn thanks to perfect draws.
My friend had lethal damage on board and I tapped 5 to play the Sanguine Bond I had in hand. He thought he had won as I had no way to deal 1 damage/gain 1 life. I play my 1 land in hand (last card in hand). Tap 1 mana + Catapult to essentially fire my acorn directly at his face, killing him at 20 life.
The acorn literally was flung at his face and he died. BEST WIN EVER. LOL. The moment of silence he had after I pinged his face was the most satisfying thing ever. The acorn that could destroy worlds.

I felt old today when: I realised that for some kids, League came out around the same time in their lives as Pokemon did in mine. Said kids are almost old enough to participate in Riot Approved tournaments.

bday was Saturday, which you'd know if LL tracked that anymore. 
They were not edible, but the cake was good. They were all plastic figurines, some of which were How to Train Your Dragon related.
Pretty nice of them considering I TPK'd them in our previous session.
