We discussed fashion a little while ago so I will ask, how does one dress business casual in the summer when it's hot. Other than suck it up. Like I want to swear shorts and not look like a scrub. Can you do this with dressier shoes?

The "casualist" you can go are jeans I think. If you wearing shorts you'll always look like a scrub. What kind of work do you do? Most offices I know are so dam cold that you can go dressed in full winter gear all year round.

Jeans? No. Neither are shorts good. Khakis and the like, dress shoes/socks, and a collared (cotton preferably) shirt, iirc, are the minimal norm.

Depends on the company, though, so ymmv.

Jeans are like the go to for most Engineering firms I've worked with but that's generally because you don't really deal with clients and do site visits occasionally. The type of person is also pretty different to a accounts type office. Only really my friend who works at Shell's head office here has to go full smart.

My work place is actually known for being casual despite being just shy of a top 150 private company. Engineers show up in those rugged outdoor sandals and khaki shorts all the time. Some people wear t-shirts which I don't really agree with but it's w/e. Basically I'm looking for a comfortable step up from there. Currently wearing a polo, Dickies shorts (which are awesome for many reasons) and my Onitsuka Tigers which are also awesome so basically I'm awesome but not very businessy looking and I'd like more options to upgrade just a little bit.

The two directors on my floor near me wear jeans like every day. If you saw this one guy you would not think he does what he does lol.

Just going to throw something out. I realize disenchanting HS cards is a matter of preference. I recognize I will never have a complete collection, let alone all goldens and non-goldens. Having golden cards brings me some pleasure. Dropping a golden Deathwing, Leeroy or Van Cleef makes me smile. It's wasteful in terms of efficiency which does pain me on one hand but I've decided to keep them because awesome. However, I have situations where I have 2 normal rares and 1-2 goldens. I have a normal and golden Van Cleef etc. I've been hurting for some key epics/rares and I'm thinking as long as I'm fine with running mixed normals and goldens in a deck, and I want to keep the golden versions, I should just DE the extra normals... so basically I want someone to tell me I'm dumb for not doing this already and get over the permenancy of disenchanting cards. I just need the logical nudge.
