I agree the social convention is a little silly, and all the more so when you don't have money. What we agreed to do ever since having the guy is treat mother's /father's day as sort of everything combined. This year it happens to fall sure no my month of absolute hell so I'm short of really thoughtful ideas.

Hell I try to avoid letting people celebrate my birthday and I still fill uncomfortable receiving gifts even if I did something considered worth getting one. Free stuff is cool but I feel like such a jerk for getting things for free.

I remember reading a study of how people in poverty tend to be unhealthy because healthy food is more expensive/harder to get than cheap junk. They aren't really poor though and have so many staff members. If I was in charge of a pro team having a proper diet/exercise plan would be one of the top priorities along. That and some kind of teambonding type activity out of the game like action football. Combines the two and gives some fresh air away from the busy schedule. Oh and proper mental health so weekly talks about how players are feeling etc. Anyway it's just really weird that they spend so much money and resources on the team but haven't seemed to have done anything about the most basic aspect of it.

1) cheapish 2) quick (if you're working many hours a day, you may not have the energy to make your own food) 3) tastes good 4) if you're living in urban poverty, you may not have access to fresh foods (or otherwise extremely expensive groceries) because food desert

When will gamers realize that having a healthy body lets you compete better? Just because a room can be messier doesn't mean that those aren't. I'll never understand the whole super messy room. Why would you want to live like that? Is that why EG is crushing every eSport? Sorry incontrol it was a joke I luv u bby
