I wonder if a decent gaming mouse would actually improve my playing of games, or if it'd just be a cheapo usb mouse that costs 70$ instead of 20$. there are plenty of affordable gaming mice.

I was just trying to write from the start and run with an idea, but I'm finding it quite difficult. Is it worth it to take time to do worldbuilding and deeper character construction or should I just try to muscle through?
I think running with an idea is probably the best call. I've read things about how greater worldbuilding might be fun but could, in the end, just distract you from the story itself. Just try and write the story and when you run into an idea that needs expounding, expound upon it.
In my experience, I've thought "What's a cool thing that I want to happen in this story?" then "Why would this happen?" OR "Why would character X do thing Y?" and that helps me figure out backstory and that stuff.

How did your cooking date go btw?

Or maybe that's the kind of stuff you just edit in as you go. Personally I'd try to outline and if anything pops in my hand make a note of it in that context. This was my thought too, especially since it's going to be more mystery/plot driven. But like Cheep said, I can just got back and edit I guess.
Argh this is difficult.

None, we made Chicken Parmesan and Green Bean Casserole. It was fun and we did it together.
But that said, I've found her first flaw. And it's a pretty big one. The dream is crushed.

Moveh Spoilarz + Show Spoiler +Honestly, your comments are exactly why I think they did as good as they could without making the movie 3 1/2 hours long. Ender's Game is a short book, but it's so jam-packed with key content that they really couldn't cut everything without making the movie complete dog crap. So they went through all of the characters, but they went really fast through everything. It wasn't perfect, but it was smarter to focus on Ender than everyone else. There needs to be no small amount of focus on Ender to make the ending have any impact, and there was no time for anything else. Cutting the movie into two parts woulld have solved the problem but probably pissed you off. As for Bean in the launch group, where else would you put him? If he was just placed in Dragon Army out of nowhere, he wouldn't even have time to get a line off. Alai showed a lot of significance as Ender's first friend, and I think even my sister, who had never read the books, caught the significance there. The kid who played Ender was pretty impressive honestly, Harrison Ford did a good job of constantly toeing the line between respect and hate for Graff, and given the expectations that I had going in, Ender's Game impressed me.

Look. Ok, look.
I really like the Dresden Files, so I have a duster. Old fashioned, black canvas duster with the mantle and everything. I've had this thing for like 5 years and it's fucking awesome and waterproof and has like a dozen pockets for shit.
She laughed at me when I put it on
