"You drink too much Monster, here's something less charged to help you progressively get over the addiction"?

like carbonated monsters are energy for the day, the Ultra variations theme is drinking to stay up for the night life, and rehab is themed for the next morning.
its a very casual use of rehab to try to be like "partied hard last night? rehab with a monster" blahblah but the rehab line tastes good.

rehab tastes delicious, and the can says it has electrolytes - who am I to question that
Ultra series has zero calories/zero sugar (so loooaaaaded with fake shit), but I don't really care about that - I prefer them because the flavor is much lighter than the super syrupy original series

I dunno. I just go home and make half a liter of tea to keep myself afloat for the next 3 hours when I'm exhausted.

My uncle's friend's girlfriend(this feels as awful to type as it is to say) was running ham on a tredmill at a gym. All of the sudden she just falls over dead. Literally ran out of electrolytes so there was nothing the EMT could do for her. =[

Just spent awhile reading up on hyponatremia.

monster rehab and jolt were my favorite energy drinks when i used to drink them

Full DTK spoilers hype
Actually liking a lot of the black Commons. Some decent incidental removal.

Speaking of energy drinks, ya'll know/heard about Rip It's?
Apparently, that's the shit they give Marines in service or something, because I swear when I go to Sam's Club, there's always a guy in uniform buying it in huge cases lol.
They don't taste that bad either for energy drinks. Better than Monster's at least imo.

That widowmaker for kicks yesterday is starting to catch up to me.

I'm pretty sure you have to be doing some things intensely wrong or have a condition for that to happen.
|
Yea sounds like something wrong happened. I know heart attacks at gym can happen just due to increasing heart rate increases risk in the short term but not having electrolytes is pretty intense. I'm sure you'd start to feel light headed before that point? Really sucks though . I know how broken I was after that guy collapsed at my gym a few months back.
|
I don't gym regularly, but whenever I do I always see the high school physical education teacher saying "never sit down after working out" inside my head. He said it over and over and over again that it forever etched in my brain, must be some kind of very serious sports precautionary practices..

Thing is, who actually knows what it feels like when their electrolytes are low? It's not like heart attacks where the symptoms are somewhat often mentioned.

electrolytes are: calcium potassium sodium and i think magnesium?? you get light headed and faint temporarily confused and then you can get twitching or other stuff depending on if its an excess or deficiency.
though a lot of times you'll see problems in anorexic people or bulimics because they are deficient in nutrients many times.though thyroid problems can cause issues (knew people in both categories)

Gonna stream depression simulator an hour after IEM is over.

I'm doing esports fashion today: sweatpants and flip flops going to class. Looks like a bum but it's IEM.

They don't taste that bad either for energy drinks. Better than Monster's at least imo. They used to be really cheap back when i was in highschool, like a dollar a can. They are fine but back then well worth the reduced cost compared to Monster.
