Made it to chapter 12 on my FE: Awakening Run hard mode, with no deaths/no Streetpass/No DLC run and then get ruined. Chapter 12 is so haaaard . Now I have to start over again. Turtle like a mofo for the first 10 turns or so. The enemies have aggro ranges but are also on a timer but the first priority is to just survive the initial rush. I found double healer to be very useful here, but that's my standard strategy to everything lol. Remember that for the purpose of support bonuses, dual guard, etc. you don't need to be paired up so you can save the pair ups for where the stat increases matter since you don't have enough units to block off all chokes. Also, it's better to put a unit one space behind the choke than actually in the choke since it reduces the surface area for ranged attacks. Yea, the first turn is the hardest lol. I had like 12 resets practicing that one. I just want to get the the missions with all the childrens. ALL THE CHILDRENS MOONBEAR.

But one is prettier than the other, and I actually OWN the game. IE, Awakening is the best FE game I own.

Yeah, it's wonderful when it's a natural long sleep, note interrupted by pangs of wakefulness when you think "I really should go up now". Going back to sleep after walking the dog twice in the morning rocks too though.

Ok guys time for some advice. Its time for me to get a new phone. My old phone was a blackberry bold which I essentially only got for the physical keyboard, but I'm not willing to sacrifice functionality/app support and other things to get another, so I'm going to suck it upon d change brands.
Currently looking at a Nexus 5; I like the size and the built in Googlosity of it all (my brother has a Samsung galaxy for example and it's monstrously huge, and supposedly a little slower than than the nexus anyway). Any thoughts or recommendations? Price is also a nice factor--- even though in theory I could buy it straight from the source unlocked (supposedly the nexus is one of the only phones where you can do so), I don't really need it to be unlocked and I can get it free with a 2 year contract, whereas with other phones I'd probably have to pay at least a little with a contract.

Can't help with the phones, I barely know how to use smartphones and only learned what little I know because I had to work on one.

Going back to sleep after walking the dog twice in the morning rocks too though. Went to sleep late (4 AM), had anxiety stuff so I fell alseep till 5, night was hot so I slept badly, woke up around 7-8, then another time at 10, didn't fall asleep again. Ended up getting up around 11:30 'cause I knew I wouldn't sleep and I didn't want to rest till something like 1-2 PM. Here's to hope my body doesn't take my weakness from tiredness this evening as an excuse for another "here, feel anxious against your will instead of getting to sleep". >_>

I'm looking into phones myself at the moment. The two I've been looking at are the HTC One M8 (which on the hardware front is more or less the same as the Galaxy S5 but is a lot cheaper and doesn't require me to put up with Samsung's TouchWiz UI), and the LG G3.
Right now most of it comes down to how I'd feel about having a phone with a big 5.5 inch display (the G3), and the answer is leaning toward "no" for me.
The Nexus 5 is a fine phone, though if you're buying it for the size, I'd warn you that the Nexus 5 isn't really smaller than the Galaxy S5 or similar phones (the GS5 is maybe 0.1 inch larger on each dimension).

Windows Phones.
Only phone I would recommend to anyone ever. They are a complete joy to own.

As someone with a really big display on their phone (galaxy S5) I don't recommend it. It's rather inconvenient to have a really big phone, I wish I had chosen one of the smaller samsung phones.

On the one hand, I have friends who absolutely love them, and on the other, I have friends who absolutely refuse to use them despite getting them free/discounted thanks to working at Microsoft.

Unfortunately, those dimensions more or less match those of most flagship smartphones these days. I feel like you actually have to go out of your way to find a significantly smaller phone that isn't also a generation out of date or comes with a significant premium on the price.

I have a Galaxy Note 2. I love the massive display.

Yeah I have found that to be the case. I don't really know much at all about windows phones....I don't think I saw any when I was looking. Also I could swear the nexus 5 is constantly smaller than a lot of the samsung offerings but I guess I'll have to look again. I'm not getting it solely for the size if I do, but it does seem to be at least a medium size compared to some others out there.
Yeah just looked it up. Nexus 5 is definitely smaller than a lot of phones with similar tech specs out there ( though in some cases not smaller by much).

Which windows phones are comparable to the nexus 5? At the least it seems nexus 5 is one of the fastest out there, though obviously in a phone speed doesn't mean all THAT much.
6ah what do you like so much about them? I didn't really see any when I went looking and now I'm curious. Sell it to me, boyo.

Everything I do at work is windows. All the monthly check lists are done in excel and I can pull them up and see all of my logs for the month on my phone. The UI is fantastically smooth, and I like windows 8 theme on touch devices. Nokia Lumia 930 is what I'm using right now and I love all the functionality it brings. The one major downside is the lack of App Shenanigans available so that can be a problem when you are trying to keep up with what everyone else has on that side, but that just comes from being a windows phone at the moment.
This is also the 3rd smart phone I've had in 3 years. Android First, Apple Second (never again please), and This one now. The main selling point for me is that the phone (specifically the 930) is built like a tank. My brother has thrown his against walls and through glass in drunken rages and his is still in one piece without case.
