Use Afa Drops on Nino for the extra growth stats and set up abusive exp grinds (e.g. Trap a melee enemy against walls and your units and let Nino just ping it. Is especially effective if the enemy is sitting on a fort so they're an infinite punching bag.) The downside is that you can wreck your time score so feeding her kills is still the best method.

Man I feel like you're just my alter ego or something. I feel like our Fire Emblem preferences are super similar.
I really, really like Lucius and I feel like the only thing that holds him back is the caps on the Bishop class. My Lucius usually ended up maxing out 3-4 stats. Of course, you could make an argument that Lucius isn't that good because the caps for the Bishop class aren't the best.
MoonBear probably has more to say on this, because at this point I'm convinced that there is nothing that he doesn't know. Heck the man could probably tell me what's going to happen in my future.

I also really like using Rebecca as a bow user bc Sue isnt in this game and I hate Rath as a character >.>. Even though Nomadic Troopers are amazing I cant bring myself to use him. I'll probably use Guy in this game too, usually neglect him and use Karel(he has okay growths + starting stats to be a pre promote + a swords master means crits so its whatever when he kills everything in one hit anyway) and im a big fan of Bartre in this game also. Which is weird because I usually dont like Warriors.
Probably not gonna use Oswin in this play through at all though. Which is rare cause I usually like atleast 1 general, except in Fe6 Bc they're all fuckign pains to train since you fight so many Wyvern knights and they just dont do damage to them -_-.
Always make sure I have 1 Mercenary/Hero though since once they promote they are pretty much 1 man armies themselves imo.

On this playthrough I used Erk. I think he is OK.
But Lucius is just so much better... so there is hardly any point.

I've read he's good I just dont like his character + Nino 10/10 on the cute scale and I can use Jaffar which is a pretty decent character too i guess.
Is there a Wyvern rider in Fe7? Been a while since I played but I seem to recall the guy with the stripe in his hair or something? Dont know If i should bother with them since i'm using a pegasus knight + they wont be Miledy from Fe6(basically god in a video game)

I got spoiled by using Joshua so I never really used Guy. I know he's great, but, man, I just want Joshua.
I really think you're shooting yourself in the foot by not using Oswin. I think he's amazing personally. I have a huge biased towards knights though, so you might want to get a second opinion haha.
The mercenary in Fire Emblem 7 (Raven) is supposed to be really, really good, but mine turned out god awful, which is really sad because I love Heroes as a class in any Fire Emblem game. For some reason they always seem to be really, really good. I don't actually think I can think of a "bad" hero so to speak.
Er, well apparently the female hero from Fire Emblem 6 wasn't that good, but I never used her so I wouldn't know.
EDIT: Yes there is a Wyvern rider in Fire Emblem 7. He's name's Heath and I would recommend using him. My Heath turned out godly, but I don't know if that's the norm or not. Basically he's supposed to be weak to mages, but once he gets some levels his health pool is so large that he's not incredibly weak to them. Has a lot more armour then pegasus knights as well. And having 2 fliers is not a bad thing at all. I recommend him.

He's not technically an archer and you need a certain route to get him (easier to get Wallace imo if you don't try for one in particular) but I guess since his bow rating is over his axe rating...
FE7 has a wyvern rider and a wyvern lord. I'm not sure what they're worth. Apparently wyvern rider = pegasus knight without the speed, skill or resistance, but with HP, strength and defense. So he dies to bows and magic and tanks the rest. I guess. Never really used him apart from getting his support conversations (I don't even try to activate the support bonuses, I just power level and plow through stuff with glass cannons and planning when I expose myself so I wipe out everything in range to hit me).

TL lineup couldn't handle a beefy tiny(I mean in theory if Tiny were the only one big, double Chrono would be enough if placed well, but that's theory) with a solid draft around him(Centaur, Bat, Wisp, all fantastic picks for a tiny draft). The reason the game went 'full EU LCS with Ziggs' is because TL knew they could no longer just force fights, they needed great Chronos and positioning that minimizes the effectiveness of Lasso and Centaur stomp, and they also had to be very worried about relocate once Tiny got Aghs+BKB, and especially after he got big crit.
Even when they won some decently clean high ground defenses, they had no way to do meaningful damage back to NaVi, they would've needed a Tiny die-back or something crazy to turn that around.

In FE7 there are two. Heath (strips) and Vaida. They are both pretty good, but I prefer the triangle...

You're correct that the stat caps on Bishops is the real weakness for Lucius here. His growths are good where they matter and by lvl 20 he will basically be maxed where it matters and will max them fairly consistently. It is also interesting that even despite his stat caps his average stats at lvl 20 are still better than almost all the other magic users you can get (for example, Canas only beats him in defensive stats).
For the average player who does not want to save scum and RNG really hard, he is an excellent choice. At worst he will be "merely decent". At best he still doubles nearly all enemies, dodges their attacks and can put out good heals with his 25 MAG. Plus you get him early enough that you don't feel like you need to suddenly invest lots of time into him and he has some good Supports.
Also, Magic is OP in Fire Emblem anyway lol.
