Anyway, I decided on 'hard' The SNES ones are very hard and unforgiving I've heard lol. Update : Sent a picture of my discs and shit in to sega support, told him i lost the key(like i said earlier) he's like "thats enough for me, enjoy!" and gives me a collectors edition key for steam so i wont lose them in the future. 10/10 best support

I think it has to do with the art, the interface, and things like "Social Knight" If they could remake it it would be nice.

Anyway, I decided on 'hard' You realize that FE difficulty is scaled around higher stats and reinforcements, right? Also, you can do what my friend did (this guy is insane, so don't follow through on it..) but you can play on Lunatic/Casual, so that perma-death isn't a thing. That was his first time playing a FE game as well I think, but he is a masochist. He spent 7 hours, SEVEN FUCKING HOURS, playing Valdis Story's first level. We have told him on numerous occasions that's he is insane, but nothing works so far. TI update: Newbee vs DK was hilarious, and made a strong argument for support Tusk, you can snowball games so hilariously with him.

It's not fine when it's totally not obvious that enemy units are going to pop up at a certain spot. Radiant Dawn suffers this problem a lot, and particularly in the earlier levels. There is a huge tendency for enemy units to all of a sudden appear near where you spawn at. No warnings whatsoever. You can't anticipate it. You either pray and hopefully clear them because they move, or you lose a unit, restart, and remember what happened last time. Two levels that I remember in particular are: 1. The first level where Ilyana joins (Chapter 4 maybe). You break out of a jail cell. Two pairs of enemies will spawn near where you spawn at. WTF. 2. The level where you can free some Daein soldiers (Chapter 7). After like 5 turns 4 units will spawn where you spawn at.

Binding of Isaac tournament is continuing tonight and tomorrow night ( and continues much of the rest of the summer I believe). www.twitch.tv/bostv If anyone is interested it's really awesome to see how good some of these players are at the game, and the casters (Dick Hammer and Cobaltstreak) are usually pretty hilarious.

Hmm, I haven't played RD in a long time, so I don't remember exactly how it worked, but general rule of thumb, if you're breaking in/out of an area, expect guards. I also don't have that issue since I play FE and XCOM super defensively, so I never bother losing units.

Yes please. BoS and BOILR are insane and amazing to watch. I wish I understood it more. Also is this the guy from Retsupurae? One of my friends Let's Play videos got dubbed by them a looooong time ago, but we still joke with him about it.

I feel like in general when you see any kind of fort/hallway without a wall expect reinforcements from it at some point, or stairs. That's true in the FE games for GBA if youre super concerned about reinforcements though just check Gfaqs, most guides will give you detailed reinforcements/when they spawn too

By the way I always play the game blind on the first run.

Hmm am I a bad person if I just download the Platinum God save file? I want to play Isaac but it looks so much more fun with all of the items unlocked. Also It would take way too long for me to unlock everything...
