Actually when you are partnered it only lets you play adds which is not very lucrative. when you reach the next level of partner they let you have subscribers which is only slightly lucrative because twitch actually takes 2.50 from every 5.00 sub. Streamers link their own paypal and money goes directly to them that way.

I do think it's odd that the NA qualifier finals are starting so early. It was fine for the previous days(8-9 blocks of games in 1 day has to start early), but there's only a couple Bo3s today, why couldn't this start at 5 or 6PM?
Also I can't criticize Valve for running a group stage here. What other format are you going to use? With the way top2 is so important, a group stage does help find the most deserving teams, rather than a potential randomized bracket which could totally screw over teams(imagine if Liquid/NAR or Liquid/SNA or something was an early round matchup?).
