There was probably a small post about it in the DotA 2 thread, but I'm not sure which things you're referring to. Like.. Can I make my hero un-deselectable? >.<

It basically is except for multi-unit heroes (which work that way for obvious reasons).
Basically any command you issue while having a non-controllable unit selected causes command to pass back to your hero.

Haven't been keeping up with the thread... So what's happening? TL LoL no more?

Been busy Shelke? It occurred to me last night I hadn't seen you post yesterday.

Anyone have any experience with ArcheAge? I was listening to Solum VoDs last night and it was talked about a bit in the beginning segment. It sounds like a super interesting MMO.
And speaking of super interesting MMOs, I think I'm gonna end up being sucked into Star Citizen once that releases, my brother in law has been hyping it up so much and it looks awesome if they can execute it properly.

ARE YOU HAPPY NOW NEO? I know this is obv sarcasm but I don't really think most people comprehend the amount of time and effort I've put into TL LoL in the past year. If you're unhappy with the state of things, go tell Nazgul in the LiquidDota announcement thread, in his blog, or PM him. He will do a post on TL LoL once the change happens. You can also post there then
When this happens, I'd like if we are at least respectful in our dissent. It's obvious that we're getting slighted, but if we can explain why we are and why we feel that their general "split the community" idea is wrong, it will go better.
Not that I think they'll change they're mind, but it might change their opinion of our community at least a little. The LoL Staff (especially Neo) have put so much time and effort in trying to get us to matter, it would be a real shame if we squandered that because we're salty for being nerfed by TLHQ.

I will fight so hard if people start coming in here and trolling (like legit trolling, beyond the normal troll-for-fun stuff we do because we're friends). I'm not planning on going anywhere, I'm just interested to see where this thread lands.

Don't worry soniv-chan. If anything the changes will make our little community even more shielded from the cruelties of the outside world.

Archeage seem super hardcore and like a lot of work as its very very player driven.

What if one day TL just deletes the lol forums and pretends it never existed.

I'm not worried about outside world influence. I would actually love to have more people join this thread.

They were talking about how it facilitates open world pvp really well, which I love. Also, there's a chance to be punished for it and put in jail, but you can corrupt the trial by getting your guildies on the jury and getting found innocent.
Idk, things that can have real risk/reward based upon what you choose to do really intrigue me

Look guys, they'd never do that. Despite what actions have shown (and I won't disagree that some of that has hurt), they actually do respect us and our work. As Neo has mentioned, there's been pushback about LoL's place on TL, but there's also been staffing and communication problems on our side.
My point being is that we're not being unilaterally crushed and shit upon. They don't actually hate LoL.

Even if you get there the drama will be at least 3x that of WoW.

So they don't hate TL LoL they merely don't want it to exist?

They're fine with it existing too.
Look at it this way. No we don't have a standalone site like SC2, DotA, or HS. That's a staffing problem just as much as anything else, so it's partially on us. However, we are at the same level as SSB, a game for which they actively have players. From a forum standpoint, we have the same level of importance (after the change, now it's arguably greater).

So can a work filter disable javascript even though your browser has it enabled? Or something along those lines.

I guess if you insist, geez...

Difference is SSB isn't off by default. In fact this situation seems even worse to me. We get an extra tournaments tab but at the cost of being off by default. That seems bittersweet.
Anyway nothing will change. I don't think the HS separate site was a good idea either but hey it's there and I guess it must be doing fine. More than anything I just dislike this whole separation in the first place. They basically did what valve did with CSS. Said it's fine if it alienates the current player base as long as a new base comes along. Guess it's the price we pay for TL being a news site first and a forum/community second.

i didn't even notice my sidebar change cause i had doto off and LoL near the top and typically use subscribed threads

So who do you mean by staff members? More mods, more writers, full-time admins?

Mods and admins are determined as necessary by the TL higher-ups. However, we have never had enough dedicated writers. Consistency has always been one of our biggest problems.
Maybe we were being too choosy when we asked for more volunteers, but, on the other hand, the people we asked to come on never actually responded back.
