Don't get me wrong, the community is still great, but TLHQ's constant dismissal of LoL has certainly been a downer. You certainly put up a valiant effort. As I said before, despite some people that liked to criticize our work, it was still front page worthy content on any other site. We were the underdogs and we never really got our Cinderella story. | ||

It basically stops any influx into the community both by outside people that casually browse TL and non hardcore TL members that start playing LOL. Also the first big name player i played vs was Neo which I thought was cool. | ||

I mean lets be fair here, it's going from TL not taking LoL as seriously as other games to TL not taking LoL as seriously as other games. There are things to be said about that sure, but I imagine if you wanted TL to take the league section seriously, the best thing to do about it would be to try to create content for the LoL section. Make an updated champion guide or something. The strategy section is really really sad. Nobody posts there and very nearly the only OP that is up to date in that section is my Lux thread, and I got flamed for making that so much I very nearly deleted it out of spite on more than one occasion. If you want the TL LoL community to be bigger and better, there are a lot of things people could actually do to improve it above and beyond complaining to Nazgul. | ||

I think TLLoL size is fine (which I think people agree with) and it could even be reduced because as you say the strategy part is not used well. It just that it will heavily reduce the chance of new people to join as its effectively hidden more than the general thread. Since people will leave it for one reason or another like Roffles and Cheep the community will shrink. | ||

Nah it's moreso because people feel badly losing to someone in bronze. People are so caught up in rankings that they can't comprehend someone in bronze who can play well. I obviously was a bronze, I have the icon to prove it. Bronze doesn't have any indication of how well you play, or what you're good/bad at. I'll always be bronze at heart. | ||
