You paint all of these yourself right? How long does it take for you to paint one of these? Is it hard to paint on of these? Because in all seriousness I don't know how I'd (try to) paint one of these and not make an absolute mess of it. | ||

TL choosing to force the community with dota/sc2/hearthstone separation makes no sense to me. I'm honestly more surprised that quite a few of the TL DotA staff members seem to be backing the change. It seems like a big reason is that it allows them more freedom/control over what they want to do. That seems like an okay idea, but I'm curious why it couldn't have been done while keeping TL intact. I don't get why they want people to choose one game over another(or at least that's what I think will eventually happen to most people). Separation of community just really throws me off any time it happens. | ||

I get major performance issues trying to run it, otherwise the game looked cool. They havent full optimized the game IIRC for the beta build. Full build has passed gold and some of the screenshots coming from it look beautiful. | ||

I've been playing Crusader Kings 2 because my friend roped me in... let me just say southern Italy in 1066 is a god awful mess. My initial leader died in 1 year, his son had to deal with two major rebellions, his son's son also had to deal with two major rebellions. Not to mention all the holy wars for Sicily. Still, I managed to unite the kingdom of Sicily in ironman mode (my 2nd real try at ironman- I was impressed with myself), before one of my vassals became too strong and started causing problems during a Holy War where I had few allies (it was in between the start of the Crusade's in the holy land and the formation of the Knight's Templar- so all the Christians start going to Jerusalem- I could handle the Muslims for a while, but eventually stacks of 4-7k troops in your face all the time wears down your army). It was all downhill from there- I lost the island/dutchy of Sicily, and then I got super over aggressive trying to reclaim it. I almost reclaimed it, but accidentally ended the war before I had reclaimed my provinces (they offered peace and I clicked it before thinking things through). Lost a 2nd holy war (which let me remove the vassal who had been giving me issues all game, conveniently), but it also significantly weakened my power base. So when another two rebellions started after the holy war, I was just screwed. What really annoys me is I had a solid way to build my holdings, but my second leader died from a blow to head from combat (after sitting infirm for about a year), so my stupid heir for a province via a relative never came through and it expired with the death of my leader. If that hadn't happened I probably could have corralled the troublesome vassal a lot sooner, then been able to cope with the Muslims more effectively. Alas, it was not to be. | ||
