That's probably because Peragus is one of the worst paced areas in a game I've ever played. It's up there with The Deep Roads in DA:O.

The writing quality is a lot better, the characters are more complex, and overall there's more depth to the story, but it's marred by the fact that it's buggy as shit, the combat encounters are basically the same, and all the story depth is rendered moot by the rushed/incomplete ending that Obsidian was forced to put out. The Restoration mod is basically mandatory if you want to not hate the game.
That said, for someone experienced in the genre I consider it more worth playing than KotOR 1. KotOR 1 is a great intro to the CRPG genre but basically follows the same formula as every other Bioware RPG, except in the Star Wars universe. It doesn't really have anything new to offer someone who's played BG2, Dragon Age or Mass Effect other than OMG LIGHTSABERS.
It was rushed out on Lucasart's say so.

I hated malachor V, I was near ready to declare kotor 2 one of the best games I ever played then I hit malachor V and the non-existent ending and I just went :C
malachor V was like the garbage on top of a pile of shit. once kreia left your group the story got extremely confusing. the cover of the game had darth nihilius who was supposed to be this badass that swallows stars whole, but then you just walk up to him and hit him a couple of times and he dies.
malachor V was a repeat of the same goddamn hallway all the time. just in case the story wasn't intolerable enough they made the game suck as well. why didn't they just hurry it up and make it shorter and make the pain end quicker, i have no idea.

It's ridiculous you cant report even low level mods like them, someone like Plexa or Manlyfesto I can see not being able to report but writers and stuff? Should be able to report them because Cheep/Roffles have been shitposting in the league threads for a really long time
What was (still is) dumb about it is that Cheep and Roffles were doing the same shit (I'd argue Cheep was worse) but Roffles could be banned because he was former staff, while Cheep got away with it because he's active staff.
I'm hoping that Plexa post means no more Cheep cancer. Fingers crossed.
To be fair, much of their "toxicity" was aimed at other people making shitty posts or stupid points.
I don't necessarily support the way they went about it, but their intention wasn't entirely malicious. They actually care about the scene and don't want stupid ideas perpetuated, especially here on TL, where we're supposed to be a higher quality of forum. From the bits and pieces I've read of GD occasionally, that higher quality isn't necessarily there. Not saying it's always bad, but I've read more than my fair share of stupid things here.
If less cancer is desired, then this sub forum needs to start chemo ASAP
Essentially, favoritism for past staff has ended and there's little to no room for outright shitposting like what Roffles/Cheep have done over the past few months. Their premise was that there is often bad and inaccurate posts from other TL LoL users like Ketara, wei2coolman, etc that it somehow justified their ways of "toxic" posting to get their point across. I'll take the brunt of the blame with how the situation arose because I was simply too lenient with both parties. Like what Soniv mentioned, there are an alarming number of inaccurate posts in GD and that needs to end.
Feel free to report posts in GD about the game that don't make sense. The moderators obviously won't warn or ban a user for having an incorrect idea but it definitely should not be perpetuated further.
Hey woah woah.
I'm only a bad poster in this thread.
I'm a horrible, horrible poster in this thread though.
