That example doesn't work because Auctioneer and Violet Teacher are rares while Yeti and Tazdingo are commons. You'd never be picking between them.
And for the record, if Yeti were a rare, I'm pretty sure you'd want to take it over Auctioneer if you're picking blind in the first few packs. Yeti is still a better card than most 4/4s with upside.
Sick stuff. I played with an Indy Alley Cat member for a summer. I wish we had fields to play on like that, it's so different on hard ground to make those layouts lol.
Agree #2 was awesome, #1 is a callahan which doesn't happen often at that level.
The summer league I played in down in CT was on turf, which was nice, but diving easily leads to turf burns.
I miss it so much. If I was more in shape and actually worked at running/stamina, I would actually be really good at ultimate. It's really cool to see it becoming a professional sport.
I need to play more than once a week at pickup if I were to actually get good and I just don't have time. Almost did a summer league but too busy
Also I'd be planning game night tonight like I did for February's but I have family coming over and I need to play it by ear. If my wife and her sisters go over someone's house to hang out I'm in. What the heck poll time:

I personally plan on playing some LoL for the first time in ages while the 2xIP weekend is going down. If anyone wants to duo (or 5-man) ranked for shits I'm totally in.
Doesn't make the 3x Multi-shots + 3x Deadly shot + 1x Arcane Shot + Archmage + Ancient mage any less fun. Only missed some explosive traps and an explosive shot for kicks.

Well that was the point of my post, rarity aside (welp I'm bad at this): unless I already have some spells (which is unlikely during the first phases of the draft) I'm picking Yeti for sure because I know it's an extremely solid all-around play at turn 4, while "vanilla" Auctioneer is only "decent" for the cost and I haven't yet dispelled the incertainty around whether
I noticed kinda recently that turns 4 and 5 seem to be pivotal in most games, partly because of strong class cards (Paladin's Truesilver or Consecrate, Mage's Fireball or Water Elemental) or it's when you start being able to drop combos (using 1/2-drops to trigger Eviscerate/Perdition Blade/SI:7, Buzzard+UTH, etc.) or make use of previously played cards (Warsong commander, Acolyte of Pain, Enraged Worgen, etc.). Maybe I'm totally missing the ball on that one, but based on that intuition tit makes me try to secure value drops to play on curve for these turns, especially turn 4. Taz'Dingo or Yeti does much more on turn 4 than even a very high value card like Harvest Golem on turn 3, I've found.

yaaaaay! Do you know what armies they're playing yet? I can help you with list building once we figure out what kind of meta you'll be playing in. Well, with the current codex anyway, but with Orks I have a feeling not much will get removed in the update, just changed.

One is playing adeptas and the other is probably playing chaos. They got a starter set with the 2 armies so they can battle things out. I'll probably just be gluing orks together while they figure out how the game is played tomorrow.
I still haven't ordered the rest of my army, just wanted to see what it's like to build stuff before ordering a couple hundred dollars worth of orks.

Well since you said starter set I assume you mean Dark Angels, since Adeptas Sororitas (aka Sisters of Battle) don't have any sets. Also they're crazy expensive to collect since they're all still pewter models aside from the vehicles.
DA and Chaos Space Marines is nice because pretty much every version of Marines (be they chaos or imperial) have lots of overlapping units, so you can generally build an army suited towards Marines in general. Unless, of course, the DA dude goes for Deathwing/Ravenwing, or the Chaos guy starts allying in Daemons.
going to show tonight. bought 2 $100 tickets over a month ago. they passed a bill that banned (wtf!?)"EDM" "raves" at the venue so they moved to a different one and it wont be a full compound show. also half of dada life is in the hospital basically its a quarter of the show i paid for but i don't want the refund they offered ill just have to drink 4 times as much.

Uh, weren't you two already an item anyway?
I'm just being poetic. You think you'd know about that, being French and all.
