Uhh... order does matter with division.
1/(2/3) = 1.5 (1/2)/3 = 0.1666...
tl;dr go to sleep dude

how tired do you even have to be to forget how division works

Cheep da god
ORDER DOESNT MATTER FOR DIVISION SINCE ALL DIVISION IS JUST MULTIPLICATION OF 1/THE DIVISOR SO JUST FLIP AND MULTIPLY GGGGG

that's probably the happiest i ever saw somebody be about basic math

Division is a lie, there is only multiplication by fractions.
So really the problem here is that Cheep forgot that 2 != 1/2. Understandable.

I read the (m^3/m^2)/s as (m^3)(m^2)/s and I was like wait how is this even an argument

Which is why I mind duos with large Elo discrepancy: they're screwing the matchmaking up and regardless of the outcome it's rarely a fun game. Yeah I know it can sort of be frustrating for others I suppose...second game we played actually was close...all I had to do was not die top lane (even though I had my CS doubled). 0-2 in placements so far, probs gonna go 0-10 or something of the sort, though I can't honestly say I mind because it either means I legit start playing ranked to work myself up again which will be kinda fun, or I stop playing LoL again after this weekend anyway in which case I can rot in Bronze for all I care.
For now, I HS stream a couple of arena runs, because nothing relieves frustration at losing LoL games like losing HS games!

I'm obviously not saying 1/(2/3) = (1/2)/3, I expressed myself poorly there. Cause sleep deprived and shit.
Look at your shit again:
m^3 * s^-1 * m^-2 m^3 * m^-2 * s^-1
Are basically the two things you have...?
https://www.google.com/#q=cubic meters per second per square meter
1 ((cubic meter) per second) per (square meter) = 1 m / s
Fuck man Google agrees with me if I'm wrong then Google is wrong then why are we even alive.

I'm so fucking confused at what the equations even are at this point

The important thing is Cheep made me realize that I was incorrectly converting to cubic feet per second per square foot instead of cubic feet per minute per square foot.
Cheep is right though. Apparently volumetric flux can also be expressed as speed, that's confusing to me.
