Candy Crush is hella boring anyway.

I love living in a country without tipping -_- that shit is retarded. If you have to tip for the waitress to make a decent living the restaurant is obviously not paying her enough to begin with.
|
It's supposedly an incentive for good service but yeah no real correlation there.
I try to tip 20-25%. Pains me to go out to eat where you need to tip though. Chipotle is simply superior to anywhere you need to tip anyways.

Off-Topic GD pls. The real way to tip is to perform a robust Bayesian inference and enlarge your domain of population information to estimate a set of regression parameters using an EM algorithm to determine the distribution parameters, remembering to check your MSE are within acceptable limits. This methodology is also easily adaptable to determine if repeat visits are worth your time as well as the expected utility outcome and economic cost of additional patronage. Of course, careful consideration needs to be given to model selection (especially given your data quality and AIC).
As for my mobile I barely have any apps except company specific ones (such as loyalty programme stuff), WhatsApp and Twitter. TL is functional in Chrome's mobile version so that's good enough, although some moderation tools are harder to access and use.

I'm not sure if it's a restaurant thing or a server thing. I remember reading on reddit that servers love it because they love taking home money every day as opposed to waiting for a big payday.

I never tip at all in France, but our waiters have way more decent wages. 25% seems to huge that I assume the actual prices are pretty low in the US since they don't account for service at all?

Breaking Bad over, I've started Boardwalk Empire. Is HBO that channel who deems it necessary to cram as much unnecessary gratuitous violence and sex in their shows as possible? Because it'd explain a lot of the 3 episodes I've watched so far. Yes, but that's also why GoT fits so well with HBO Too bad I'm thinking the books way too overhyped as it is now to think about watching the serialisation. But coming back to Boardwalk Empire, it's pretty annoying to get gory shots everytime there's violence just for the sake of it being gory, or wasting 3 minutes out of every episode's 50 for sex scenes that so far haven't brought anything of interest (or it was for character exposition that was much better done about the exact same point in other scenes). I'll take a wild guess and assume stuff like Spartacus or Rome or The Borgia was on HBO too?
Also don't you dare call your hair "long" wtf.

Servers also appreciate making more than minimum wage, which is usually all the restaurant will pay otherwise. Minimum wage in the U.S. is also... lacking as the means to support oneself in most locations.

I can really only remember ~2 nude/sex scenes in GoT that were purely gratuitous. Most of the sexual content is in the books too.

EM on Bayesian expectation for tip analysis assumes either you tip before your meal arrives or that the server is going to remember who you are for your next meal. Since the former is inapplicable to the given case of US service tipping, we will focus on the latter. Given a constrained optimization under reasonable income and expected spending levels, the data suggests that the service function is memoryless and unconditional on past interaction, in which case the Bayesian inference itself adds no additional certain bounds to our expectations. Are you suggesting there is a posterior distribution of service that can be predicted by a parameter set of tips given that service is taken a priori to the action of the tip parameter?
Moonbear pls.

I'll edit that for clarity.

99% of my app usage is alien blue, chrome, google voice, facebook, twitter, google maps, and gmail. Is anyone else OCD about keeping their home screen organized and clean? I always have 20 apps there and if I ever want to add a new app to home, I'll have to boot an old one.

Empirically, tipping has almost no correlation with quality of service. We think we tip based on it but we don't. Gg abstract modeling.
