Actually curling fashion is kind of interesting. The white belts popularized by by Glenn Howard's team are now pretty ubiquitous, the style of crazy-colored pants that the Norwegians first showed off is pretty popular too. For a while Howard's team was wearing jersey numbers (pretty hilarious in a slow moving game with 4 man teams), not sure if that caught on. In Canada you are never further than 10km from a curling club! Massachusetts. I'm honestly not sure how far Canada is from me, I've never been. I'd assume there are some curling clubs in VT/NH/ME, but that would be a bit of a drive, and I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if there are curling clubs in MA. Technically "points de suspension" is ok, but everyone says "trois petits points" anyway. Don't get me started on "deux points" being the actual, official term for a colon. Also the inventors of French numbers were so fucking lazy, using sixty-ten and eighty-ten instead of thinking of names for seventy and ninety... Then eighty is just four twenties. Why even bother having names for numbers at all if you are just going to say "four twenties ten seven" for 87? | ||
