This series between Maru vs Cure had such technical and tense games as well. Game 4 (on Babylon) where Maru slowly contained Cure throughout the map with little pockets of outposts (sensor towers/missle turrets) and Maru's changing army composition. That was such a tense and technical game. I would love to hear a much more detailed cast of that game. Maru's transition in Game 5 into BCs was flawless and so smooth - amazing stuff from Maru. Game 6 - Maru's breaking out of Cure's contain in the early was super impressive as well. I thought he was dead for sure. And then Maru's changing army composition was superb! It certainly feels like Maru has finally figured out the TvT meta after this patch. He's looking invincible in TvT.

Adding a few more is always nice, but the field is getting a little thin these days. Sick finals anyway, only missing a game 7 and maybe a little variety to be up there with the greats. I guess that lack of variety is at least in part to a lack of prep time for the final though, felt a lot like a weekender final with players going toe to with their most comfortable builds and we got some good slug fests, but nothing too gambly or novelly fiendish
