Like, he could never string together wins against the likes of Rogue, Maru, Inno, Stats etc. for long enough to win many tournaments. I personally think it comes from his scrappy playstyle, which removes a large part of preparation and turns games into mostly just a skill check, but I'm not sure. He rarely looks bad, just not quite consistent enough against the cream of the crop (unlike e.g. Maru for his 4 GSLs, but that's a bit of an exception too huh). He did win the inaugural SSL as well though. | ||

He won't even be able to go to Katowice unless he gets an extension. So he wants to pad his trophy case and his bank account before then. Who knows what he will look like when he comes back or if he even does. It's not a guarantee with any of these guys. | ||

True, I was hoping his performance for this super tournament would be better and he can rebound off his GSL finals loss off Maru, but it obviously wasn't the case. I'm not ready to call it a fluke, but I'm not going to start betting on him repeating it any time soon. Who knows though, maybe with a new Zerg favored balance patch and all of the other Elite Zergs gone from GSL he might have a better shot, but IMO once Dark goes to the military, the title of best Zerg in GSL will go to either Solar or DRG. Not Ragnarok. | ||
