No, I just put some in the OP that I remember casting the cups previously. There have been so many casters that it's difficult to remember all of them.
Will update the OP with more once we get going again.

Full lists of active ESL casters are available on the Liquipedia pages, weekly Twitter announcements, and other ESL communications. It would be great to showcase all the casters that cover these events now while your post gets the most traffic. It may seem trivial to most people, but the smaller ESL casters work just as hard as the few you’ve listed for much lower reward, and something as simple as a link here can help boost their viewership by significant amounts.

Are they? I haven't been able to find a list on either LP or the Twitter announcements.
If you can point me to such a list I will be happy to add all the casters.

Ok, fixed. Do you guys also have a banner image that can be used for the LR and other stuff concerning the cups, now that the one currently used has the wrong date?
Because the ESL Cups start granting EPT points from #65 and onward, they will likely receive more players and casters. Should add those casters to the list once they're known.

Agreed. These guys work too hard to bring us all these games to be ignored or passed over in favour of names that people may be more familiar with.

Nobody is being ignored. I already said I would add more streamers once I had a list. You found one on LP, great, I'll add it as soon as I have time. Just because it doesn't happen the instant you want it to doesn't mean I'm passing over anybody. Stop creating an issue where there is none. And maybe remember that the people doing LR's are just TL.net users who get get zero pay (and apparently zero credit) for doing that.
Also, if any casters out there doing ESL Open Cups are not in the OP just say so and you'll be added
Thanks, that's nice to have. I think I'll just add streamers as they actually start broadcasting the tournament though so we have a list that's more useful.
Was a pretty good EU cup with both Zest and Need making runs. It's nice that Reynor plays more often now. Understandably Clem was taking a break after becoming the EU champ, but it would be nice to see Serral compete.
Gotta say I don't like the timeslot for KR. I wonder if it would be better to have all three cups played on Tuesdays instead.

But it's a bit disappointing that Cure didn't try EU now that he won the other two. At some point we gotta have that triple crown.
If there's anyone who can do it it's probably Cure. He's had some legendary cross-server performances on EU in the past.
Oh yeah there was that IEM event where he played those qualifiers back to back to back, and eventually qualified through EU after something like 18 hours. And in early 2020 he also barely lost a qualifier on EU against Serral.

2020 he actually qualified through EU loser bracket.

This Eu Cup is weired. You wouldn t expect Soul, uThermal, MLord and Gungfu in the top 4, when Clem Gabe HerO Lambo Neeb MaxPax Zest All played as well

Not surprised to see uThermal or Soul in the top 4, those guys are definitely top EU terrans. Surprised to see MLord up there, haven't seen his name towards the top of the list in awhile, it's nice to see an oldschool player performing well again. I don't really follow gungfu so I don't really have anything to say about him other than gratz on placing well.

Nice tourney.
Well one of them making it to the top 4? That s nothing unusual. Soul and uThermal both aren t realy lacking behind MaxPax, Lambo and Neeb from that list above anyways. All 4 of them at the same time, especially with such a strong signup list? I d say that was quite unlikely.

It’s got to happen some day but it would be a crazy feat. Yeah the stakes are lower but it would be a feat of pure Starcraft chops to plough through 3 separate brackets of unknown opponents with latency going from buttery smooth to ploughing through treacle.

Brackets for "minor" online cup with THIS many pro players is what i love about ESL Open Cups. Best thing to happen to starcraft. Big Korean names and top foreigners clash with alot of uknowns/lesser players who can do the upset. + You get to see players compete much more often. i Thought herO, Zest, Clem and HeroMarine would make it top4....

Yeah me too.
I wish it was there from the start of 2010/2011, either as part of IEM circuit, or WCS league. I know GO4SC2 was a thing, but i love how this system encourage WEEKLY play of international scenes and not just the occasional Weekend tournament.

I am just dreaming at alternating universe that 'online' ESL Cure appears in the tournaments and smashing all the nerds for two years in row, declaring himself as the all-time best Terran player in history where Maru, Innovation, MVP, MKP, Taeja, Byun, TY, Clem have no chance to compete their accomplishments with.
After all, I realized that it was just a dream and it wont happens.

E.: Also I just saw, that Scarlett tried her luck with Protoss against Clem in the NA Final I like her thinking, she s somewhat decent with P and Clem is one of the best vZ Players right now, while more vulnerable against P

She would have gotten a better chance of defeating Clem in G3 if she went for a dirty tactic instead of playing a more standard game, Most of his recent losses have come against proxies (or mass phoenixes)
MaxPax wins ESL Open Cup #93 Europe with a 3:2 reverse sweep in the finals over HeRoMaRinE.
RotterdaM did a short winner’s interview afterwards. In the (audio only) conversation, RotterdaM asked MaxPax if he was excited that thousands of viewers were cheering for him. The answer was a blunt “no”. Trying to get some kind of emotional reaction out of MaxPax, RotterdaM followed up with a question if his win had sparked joy in him. MaxPax seemed to think about this before he answered: “I think so.”

Gerald definitely won that series against Reynor as Reynor was trying to show how big his balls are by not making lurkers and in the end he was forced to make lurkers to win that game.

Agreed. He could literally win a DH EU. Not that its probable but there would definitely be a chance.
And it's a time when Protoss seem at their strongest in a long time - would be a shame to miss this opportunity.
I don´t think we should forget that MaxPax was 16 when he started to become really good. He only turned 18 this july. Maybe he play it "casually" for now, and then he might decide to go more "pro" now that he is an "adult". I sure hope so.
Being from Denmark myself, it kinda makes sense that a 16-17 year old won´t travel around to live events until he finished "gymnasium" or what education i asume he is doing. So things might change in the future.
Or its what most people now think and he just don´t wanna go to live events and have his face seen and just enjoy playing SC2 at the hightest level online in his home.
Interesting and impressive result! Sad he didn't try to go at the same time as Reynor to play in GSL if he was going anyways though. Though I guess the time of the trip was probably determined by his team.

Yeah he’s definitely getting there! I think he may have a higher ceiling than many of his Toss peers as when he’s on it his execution is just really, really good. His PvT pre-military was so strong because he’d get little edges, or close out advantages in otherwise pretty even games. Just getting that extra kill or saving that extra unit cumulatively adds up if you’re consistently doing it, whereas I feel top Tosses now kind of rely more on snowballing big advantages from BOs etc
Grats to Dark of course and another deep run from Clem bodes well for him too.
Last week of cups officially listed on the ESLPlay site—hopefully we get an announcement for the continuation of the ESL Pro Tour this week
Obviously, the overall continuation of SC2 is the most important factor, but it would be kinda lame if EPT got continued but they broke the streak of consecutive Open Cups because they couldn't get the details sorted out in time.
I genuinely hope we get info tomorrow that ESL has decided to stop funding starcraft 2 for forever. This game sucks so bad, and has for the longest time sadly.

Given Luolis plays Stormgate tournaments + can't get through a hard ceiling in SC2 ... What must (not) be said, unsurprising comment.
But which goes against the desire of others to see the SC2 circuit keep going.
EDIT : On a personal level, I don't care either way, if it stops I'll just enjoy SC2 for the mere casual play (I still have to test Nightmare mode). If the circuit continues, all the better.

I think LotV made sc2 into a shitty game. Sc2 was a beautiful game until the 12 worker start and eco changes. My skill issues in sc2 have nothing to do with my hatred of it. Not to mention i think its better for the game to die than live on life support by Saudi blood money.

Not my own view of what the expansion is because I don't see the starting changes as inherently bad, but agreeing to disagree.
Ditto for not discussing the Saudi "problem", I'll only do so on a separate topic. This has nothing to do there.

The cups have been great. I definitely don't bother to catch most of them, but as a source of occasional starcraft and a consistent content generator for good series here and there its fantastic.
They definitely help keep the scene alive, and feel alive at that.
Just wanted to touch base and confirm we are officially in the off-season. We are also back to the drawing board to see what the future of SC2 esports might hold for us, we'll be back when we have more details to share...
