First! HYPUUU
Edit: Are these sorted by points or is this already a prediction who will advance?

Dunno Kev...
What "metric" did you use? I feel they are pretty even just B a bit lower

Group C has astrea/special which are top 4-8 foreignerland. Then A and D have Risky/Has. and rigth now Maru >> INnoVation and Reynor > Serral. Group D and B have weaker koreans compared to A and C and weaker foregners too compared to A and C

How will the players be matchup for the Ro8? Is there a draw, are the groups pre-paired like in Code S?
It would be nice if ESL announced the procedure in advance (so we avoid those awkward WCS moments).

Haven't seen Maru play beside Codes S Ro24. Not really an indication of his level of play right now. Yes, Reynor stomped Serral yesterday. But I would rate Serral still higher than Reynor, who IMO needs to prove that he can actually defend his crown for once. I can maybe give you Reynor = Serral
The "bottom 8" of the brackets I would rate sth like this order
Clem Neeb Special Gabe Time Astrea Has Risky

Reynor/Maru is going to be the ultimate test of Reynor's future credibility after beating Serral, and I'm genuinely excited. Hoping for some amazing games, and I'm sure Serral/Inno is also going to provide.

Obviously they couldn t put Maru and Serral in the same group But Serral - Inno and Maru - Reynor are going to be great as well (I hope)

Also can't believe this is happening in only 3 days!

I feel like they are getting each other’s rivals here which is pretty cool. And each group has an in-shape veteran foreigner to potentially surprise.

very excited for Reynor - Maru
Otherwise groups look pretty straighforward to me, maybe Clem can upset Trap but overall in every group you've got to favor the two guys whose names appear first. Ro8 and onwards will be incredible though.

Yeah, that also seems the case to me. It's the Koreans and the top two Europeans, with Clem possibly upsetting Trap. But I think Clem's chances are quite slim, and Trap just won the weekly ESL Open Cup with a 12-0 map score (3-0 vs Cure) so he's not in bad shape.

Interested to see how group B shapes up with ty and parting both having GSL coming up which they will obviously focus upon more.

ty and parting havent looked as strong online as well. TY's GSL group is before this so he'll be able to focus on the season finals if he wants to as he won't have to play GSL for a few matchdays. Funnily enough there's a chance that they meet in GSL.
