Absolute insanity by Stats. This last game he didnt manage to do enough early game damage to go for the timing push like in G4. He recognized that, pulled back, and just kept Serral on inferior tech.

Really glad Stats did it, he looked like a clearly superior player today. Even in that unplayable super late game he fought very respectably. GG to both of these guys !

Serral spent WAYYYY too much time on Lair tech and Roach/Ravager. Got too bloodthirsty and tried to kill Stats who was on a solid 3-base economy. As usual, Stats defended brilliantly while harassing Serral's economy, and that's what allowed him to outpace Serral on econ and tech and just kill him outright.

Stats played so good those last couple games. Serral fought admirably in that last one too. The koreans have really stepped up their PvZ recently it is insane, whilst Serral's "weakness in ZvP" finally translates to an actual loss.

I was rooting for Serral to win the whole thing but at least this should be a much better final.

First, tournaments in Finland are way more rare (especially with a good finnish player), and second, Koreans win stuff way more often and Serral winning that even was hype even for Koreans.

To come back from that lategame beat down ... and just crush Serral.

He went from "Standard play" to I need MMR play.
