I cant help but think that sometimes Serral tries suboptimal strats on purpose to maybe lose and make it interesting, I know it sounds crazy, but maybe he is trying to save sc2 and to profit as long as possible lmao.

remove the tempest and give immortals an air attack that combats armor/massive units

I would trade the entire Stargate techtree for Zeratul's immortals.

Dunno if the patch will solve it, but IT are definitely the most OP part of lategame ZvP and what it should be targeted first

if i recall correctly the zeratul immortals had a single target ability that could hit ground and air and it just pounded whatever was targeted lol given you had enough immortals

It's not that people don't try to use disruptors, it's that every single unit is hopeless vs infestor/spore holding 1 choke point and 30 cracklings controlling the rest of the map.

You get always forced into a defensive position. It is actually a case of offense advantage (you get to choose the engagement time/place and you get the better trade). Basically creep+static is way too good in that situation.

I mean they might experiment on ladder, but in tournament play you're not going to go for it unless your winrate is sorta decent.

I don't know if the best way to go about is for pros to sabotage their chances to win a tournament to convince the viewers about balance decisions
