I just don't get it. TY has played this style a lot on this map. But it just seems these compositions against each other are more less impossible for Terran to win. Why does he keep doing it?

Yes, because TY is playing terribly. He is not exactly well renown for being the best late game TvZ, and this game he is even playing with a bad composition. Dark would have crushed him like 10 minutes ago.
