2013 WCS Season 1:
Life, 
PartinG, 
Flash, BogusBy far the deadliest group of death we've ever had. Best Zerg, Best Protoss, and the two best Terrans coming into HotS. Though things would change a lot in the coming months they all seemed considerably above the rest of the pack during this time.
2017 s1:
Bogus, soO, Classic, DarkNot much to say here. In contemporary times these guys are pretty much always among the best of their race.
2014 s1:
Zest, Maru, Dear, SoulkeyDear was the reigning champ, Soulkey was probably still the best Zerg, Maru was the undisputed best Terran, and Zest was the hottest new player who would end up royal roading the season
2012 s3:
MC, MarineKing, Symbol, Squirtle Might not seem like much today, but back then this group was insane. Symbol was arguably the best Zerg, Squirtle had just come off a nearly undefeated season (dat Mvp tho), Marineking was probably the best Terran for the first half of 2012, and MC was rapidly returning to form and would go on to reach the finals.
