is it me or round robin and bo5 series is just too much for only second group stage? did any tournament before had used this system?

Given Serral mechanics he would be fine as terran at the same time INno is doing well.

I completely agree. uThermal, Nice, Reynor, puCK, Elazer, Semper, and TIME also had a terrible/off day yesterday when the Koreans destroyed them 14-1 in map score.

It kept some of Dark's units at home and it kept Dark remaking overlords that could have been army units. Considering how dead Reynor was looking at that point, I'd say it worked out pretty well.

About Special, seeing the 2 0-3 scores, I thought he was late or something for the event, did not imagine he could actually lose 6 games to, no offense to anyone, but somehow up and coming, unknown players.(even if I know at least Reynor)

uThermal is so dangerous sometimes, really like how he's played the last couple games.
I feel like Classic should go back to going blink though, it worked well earlier, and it's a good way to get into the later part of the game where Classic is obviously favoured.

WESG is getting screwed with the Achievement Hunt event pulling viewers away. Apparently watching streamers play campaign is more compelling than Group Stage 1 of a tournament plagued with behind-the-scenes issues. Also time zones really reflect this too - tournament day doesnt start until 11pm EST, which is tough for NA audience, and really early for EU audience, especially during the week.

The event hasn't been hugely promoted (at least not to english speaking viewers). Also view times are bad for both EU and NA.

Every WESG tournament has low viewership though, it's the same for CS and HS.

On most of the tournament's channels there are tournaments every months etc, so many more followers etc than once a year + low interest before the playoff because of the disparity
