I hope everyuone realizes how flawed that logic is and btw people said the same thing about Heroes of the Storm. As someone who has spent alot of time understanding what makes games/esports grows, both when it comes to "theory" and data, it's acutally fairly easy to predict succes. A year before the game was released, I predicted OW would generate 30M sales twelve months past release. That turned out to be correct. 6 months before OW was released I predicted a very low ratio of viewers-to-players. That also turned out to be correct. (posted both predictions on TL so the proof is there). Alot of money could have been saved if someone hired me as their consultant. | ||
