very bad comparison. Give top shape Gauss or Ramanujan a year and they would still make breakthroughs.

Stephano was so good because he didn't give a fuck about his opponent

when did Showtime beat koreans this year?

Just now didn't you see?

I still think that foreign players will have a very hard time against korean terrans, and that if the game were to be well designed, they would stand no chance ever.
But yeah nowadays with the sponsors dropping and stuff koreans are at an all time low so it's almost easy to beat them, especially in matchups such as PvP.

This further enhances the point that WoL beginning was the most competitive Korean era. Kespa era wasn't as tough.

they need to practice on EU ladder

EU ladder is the real top tier league,

None of the good Koreans even used the ladder. Only Byun, Maru, and Solar
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

yeah I figured. afaik it's pretty much been like that since the beginning. I mean Byun will just randomly go to rank 1 and then leave league when he's bored.

Same thing happened in chess honestly when soviet chess collapsed. Who would have thought that chess would nowadays be dominated by a norwegian, a french, an italian and an american ?
