Patience makes Protoss looks broken. Cheesy builds and horrible execution, yet wins. TY should've tried to push and end it mid-game, but to be fair he was playing from behind and probably hoping that Patience will drop the ball again as the game dragged on (which he nearly did).

Yeah, as a spectator those kinds of games really frustrate me. I know Patience did some smart stuff and actually TY made some mistakes, but I basically don't feel like the better player won. Like, I watch the games and don't think, "Wow, Patience really was the better player today." I think, "Wow, I can't believe he can fuck up that hard over and over and still win. This shit looks broken."

Yeah, totally agreed. It's just not good for the game in general. It can drive away fans, if not players themselves. TY's disgusted expression said it all.

Don't know which map the other game was on but this made so much sense on this map where he can attack from so many different sides and it's so hard for the mech player do defend. Even though he defended mostly fine it was still enough.

Personally I'd say the only player who didn't commit major throws (whether on purpose or not but I give them all the benefit of the doubt) was Reality.
Kinda feel bad for Reality. Getting 4-0ed by TY is deceiving. He held his own and played well. And he's always been a solid if unspectacular player. Would've loved to see him advanced over Patience (ugh).

Honestly Reality looked kinda lost in all 4 games though. Always seemed like he was a step or two behind. Reality v Patience would've been sick decision making battles though

80% of that was just TY laying a beat down, not looking threatened in the slightest. TY eventually went up to 7 bases against Reality's 4. Reality barely even made it across the map to kill a spare PF that TY built...as the bio player.

I agree that it was pretty one sided, but TY's play alone makes it worth watching imo :D (and it wasn't over in like one push, even though it probably should have been^^)

There've been enough games where the bio player looks dominant and is up in bases and then the first mech push derails the hype train. I'd argue out of all the games in this group that one was still easily the best even though it was kinda one-sided, and it was probably the best bio vs mech TvT since LotV came out. And Terran players can learn a few things from it.
I mean really the only games that weren't one-sided yesterday were episodes of Game of Throws featuring Patience.
