On March 12th and 13th Gamers for Giving will be hosting a BYOC charity LAN event featuring tournaments in many esports games, including Starcraft 2. Info: Gamers for Giving is a competitive gaming tournament and LAN party that helps generate resources for the initiatives of Gamers Outreach. Funds raised from the event help support Gamers Outreach charity programs, such as building portable gaming carts for children in hospitals. MORE INFO Direct from Gamers for Giving site: SOURCE/LINK TO FULL RULES StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void Tournament 1st Place: $400.00 2nd Place: $200.00 3rd Place: $100 4th Place: $50.00 5th/6th Place: $25.00 Format: 1 vs 1 Entry Fee: Event is open to all LANFest BYOC attendees. Players who wish to compete need only purchase a seat in the LAN. Check-in and set up for the StarCraft 2 tournament will be between 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 12th. The tournament will begin at 1:30 PM. The matches will be casted on location officially by Wintergaming possibly joined by local caster(s) Wingnut and Gallagation and potentially former MLG caster Axeltoss. Will update this thread with any relevant info from Gamers For Giving or others!
