All the while not taking a 3rd. my interpretation of what happened was seed was planning to do a 2base allin. the first wave was when he sent adept shades toward the third and canceled them because of ling/queen in position, and he made more gates to follow it up with the main attack. meanwhile dark probably started planning the nydus when he saw the stargate. seed eventually had a third down and zerg had 53 drones, so i think if the nydus never happened seed's build was fine | ||

The only use is to allin, it literally is useless in any other case. Do we really need such a game mechanic? Well, I'm not gonna call the nydus imba, but calling Seed's play greedy is a bit of a stretch. He went to 6 gates and a stargate off of 2 bases and delayed his 3rd for a long time. He looked to be doing an all-in that he aborted later. It's not like he died because he had no units. | ||

It's not about balance, it's about bad design. The Nydus worm is incredibly stupid, it was stupid in hots and in lotv blizzard decided to make it even worse. Players will find ways to defend pretty much anything in most cases, that doesn't mean that it's good gameplay (to play and/or to watch) | ||
