If he beat Classic and Rain I'm just lost for words. 2-0 Rain, 2-1 Classic Amazing. Can anyone comment on the matches? His games vs Rain were pretty much two 3-base ling/hydra (with Vipers added later on) all-ins. Vs Classic it was closer to standard macro play, but still mass ling/hydra (especially mass hydra). G2 of Classic vs Snute is beautiful, a lot of action, many bases taken. And typically the kind of match where Double Harvesting or similar would have been very interesting to see in action.

I mean, with the current state of ZvP, beating two Korean leagues champions in a row is just out of this world. Last time this happened was at IEM Shenzhen last year where Jim beat Life and Taeja (both of whome went on to win blizzcon and get to ro4 blizzcon respectively) yeah but I mean Jim is P, no balance whine intended, but upsets are likely to happen with P players who play like Jim. Far more impressive from Snute IMO. I still respect it. He played pretty straight up vs both of them.

Snute defended whatever they did and then swarmed them with very aggressive ling/roach/hydra waves and low viper counts
