Cause if 1 group has a finite amount and the other an infinite amount and you put them together, you still have an infinite amount of apples in total but that's not what was asked. We had infinite to begin with and then divided it. It's still an infinite amount in both groups, but a small infinite than the two groups combined. Let's say I have this infinite amount of apples, and I take 1 of the apples and put it in group 1. I take the rest of the apples and I put it in group 2. Now I have a finite group and an infinite group, which are infinite together I never said divide them equally btw, maybe that was unclear. You can split up infinity into 1 finite group and 1 infinite group (like, say, splitting all integers into Set 1 = the integers from -10 to 10, and Set 2 = all the other integers), and you can also split up infinity into 2 infinite groups (like, say, Set 1 = all even integers, and Set 2 = all odd integers). So it works in both cases if the question is as originally written "do both groups have an infinite amount or just one?" It could be either answer. I hate the concept of infinity tbh Buzz Lightyear doesn't! He is a filthy liar. (Well if he speaks English at least, cause in Dutch it's "to the stars, and beyond") learn math instead of watching movies for children Abstract math, no thanks. Makes my brain hurt

Clearly, Buzz Lightyear is just smug from taking a class in Set Theory and Cardinality. haha

If he had said divided into two in the mathematical sense of "divide", then we can put both groups in bijection and thy're both infinite.
(I'm no mathematician though.) If you put any percentage of the apples (besides 0) in a group, it will have an infinite amount of apples. If you put a certain amount of apples, however, it will be finite. if you numerate all apples and put all apples with equal numbers in group 1 and all with odd numbers in group 2, both will have infinite amount of apples in them By odd numbers, do you mean numbers that don't occur on other apples? If so, every apple would go in group 1.
you have a basket of infinite apples and two more empty baskets. there is a 1 on the first basket and a 2 on the second. you grab an apple and put it in the first basket. you grab another apple and put it in the second basket. you grab another apple and put it in the first basket. you grab another apple and ...
when you are done grabbing all infinite apples (lol), both basket 1 and 2 will contain infinite amount of apples

Mlord right now: "Wow, I got this! I got him contained!"

Good thing we completely understand the context in which that sentence is made.

On the stream there was a "breaking news" graphic which had that quote, but the last "Korean" was written as "koran" (typo)

just gotta say that I find it awesome that the French Sc2 scene has a bunch of players hitting their stride. Maybe one day they'll catch up to Stephano in his prime
