Hyun was only declared washed-up by people with little faith in the Roach, thus making their opinion invalid. The creator of the Holy 1/1 10:30 Roach Push shall never be washed-up.

heheheheh, wasn't yours CJ last week? You said if Byul lost you'd change it forever?
He changed it anyway because Prime fans have a lot of faith and not a lot of logic.
I was actually taking a jab at effOrt's story here
I know, I know, but what do you want me to say? It's unfortunate, however recent events show that it is understandable that Coach Park could be a little bit paranoid about matchfixing.

Prime fans are just waiting for their Rudy season. Wet Hot American Summer does a good job of describing it, save for the getting to the finals bit.

I only see that happening if there is lag and hyun is in control of resuming from replay.
A couple facts about this group... - Nobody in this group has ever played each other before (in a meaningful setting, at least). At least, in sc2 - didn't check Brood War. - Everyone here has exactly one korean finals.

Oh I guess. To counter, it's not really meaningful cause WoL + Terran instead of protoss!
meh could care less about this group other than soulkey. hyun getting out would be hilarious just for the shitstorm it would generate if he roaches out dream.

Honestly, this is my favourite group, not because of the players necessarily, but because of what went down during the group selection.
I could fit that role for the chef. I can cook and I have had a year at a cooking and hygiene school it's just I would need to learn how to cook asian ;(

Yeah and Moonglade is constantly saying how this was critical damage while Hyun was ahead in workers the whole time even after Hellbats and is now on 3 bases. I am not sure, I think that he is fine. Not in a great position, but still fine.

This kind of stuff happens way too often. They think they can finish it by killing all army, but they waste their chance to kill the economy by giving them time. :S

They can get repaired but they need in battle healing to be useful.
Tanks should be able to get healed as well
And medivacs
medivacs healing medivacs. Oh them meta explosion in my head. Someone needs to calculate the critical mass of medivacs needed for them to become truly immortal

I think Dream looked scarier than he actually is in that game. Dream and Classic are teammates and he knew exactly what Classic was doing and which angles he would attack from.

3:00 Classic expands with only two probes mining gas. Second gas for Classic.
4:00 Twilight council for Classic. Another barracks for Dream. Dream getting two refineries.

6:00 Three more gateways and two more gasses for Classic. +1 attack and combat shields. Robotics facility for Classic. Dream getting a starport.
7:00 Dream 64 vs Classic 60 Robotics bay for Classic. Classic prepares to blink into the main and does just that. Dream is ready and two workers + a few units die.
9:00 Dream 74 vs Classic 72 Classic blinks into the natural and Dream is less ready, losing eight more workers. Dream moves out with a drop. Classic tries to blink in but messes up and blinks on the rocks. Nine more SCVs fall while the drop is slowed by a few slow zealots.

No cheese. Game 1 was Hyun going roaches and attacking into a defended position and dying. Game 2 was decent macro play from HyuN but very sloppy play from Dream and game 3 was derpbat push into mass bio crushing roach hydra.

Not very good.
cheese, rush? who if so.
No cheese. Game 1 was Hyun going roaches and attacking into a defended position and dying. Game 2 was decent macro play from HyuN but very sloppy play from Dream and game 3 was derpbat push into mass bio crushing roach hydra.

What, Hyun is going roaches TvZ vs bio?
It's HyuN, last year the majority of all his TvZ's were 1-1 roach and 2-2 roach/hydra timings.

I'm guessing he noticed the range missing.
Noticed it before Classic it seemed; shouldn't Classic have noticed his Colossi seemed weaker than usual?
It's a mistake. It happens to everyone. We've seen it forgotten in Korea many times. Also warpgate. And stim. I seem to remember a 35 min combat shield upgrade once.
Personally I don't forgot it. Maybe one game ever. But I wouldn't notice, because I don't ever notice the colossi lasers during the fight. My eye is used to noticing other stuff.

It happens because you get range with your second colossus, not immediately. If you're forced to spend gas in the meantime it does happen that you'll forget about range at times.

Is it true what the moonG said? You need to actively A-Click on the rocks for banes to attack? Not enough to rightclick on them? Even the fish are complaining about the smell.

Uh, yes, in HotS all neutral destructible things need to be A-clicked for units to attack them.

I think that it's easier to spread creep with that 3rd but I'm not sure.

Because they won't attack your 3rd then, but your natural and you are in deep shit anyway because of choke points. If you are defending your third they can just force field you out of the natural and kill your natural and main. If you are defending natural, they will force field you out and kill your third, and if you split your units they will force field one group and kill the other.

Sick. I guess when he goes for a timing he gets shield cause its faster to get to 1-1 but when he goes long game he gets the 3-0 first. Thats the kind of shit I like to see.
Seriously. I'm a Classic fan and this really bugs me. Put Hyun out of his misery.
I've also never really liked the saying "get further ahead." I mean I understand the principle behind it, but on the flipside if you have the army to straight up kill the opponent letting them stay in the game for X more minutes is just giving them more time to possibly make a play that could bring about a comeback or to get back on even terms.
I think that killer instinct is what separates the best.

"When ahead, get more ahead" is partially why foreigners are foreigners and Koreans are Koreans in SC2.

It does in certain moments, but not always. In BW you had these heavy trades from both sides where in SC2 they don't happen as often and one side snowballs out of control. It doesn't make sense for you to let opponent get back on track even though a lot of players are still doing that.

the bottom bracket is pretty good on its own tbh. but just that we have maru/herO and life/dream quarters makes the top ridiculous. 2 championship level matches in the quarter finals.

I'm not sure what game you're referring to? This game Hyun just got choked out. Getting further ahead doesn't let your opponent get back on track, it puts you further ahead and slants every subsequent engagement further in your favour. The best way to let your opponent get back in the game is to go for the throat and miss.
All the ro8 matches are also players playing there best match ups basically. Except maybe Stats and ByuL but both of them are so good it equals it out.
Parting is kinda missing, but you could still argue that those 8 players are the top 8 right now. Sick ro8, really sick. Of course you can always exchange some names, but this is as close as it gets.

You can't go for the throat and miss if you are super ahead already. You realize that at one point Hyun was at 100 supply while Classic was at 150 after Hyun attacked Classic. And then Hyun was on 150, while Classic was on 170, with very very superior army.
You can let opponent get back on track if you are trying to take as many bases and follow "get more ahead logic" while opponent is managing to get army back. Classic did a lot of back and forth dancing, doing pretty much nothing.
I am not sure what game did you watch, but Classic had a lot of moments where he could just crush Hyun with a-click without even using ANY of his spells and abilities.

It's kind of dumb not to do damage when you are in a prime position to do so. "Get more ahead" doesn't mean giving up an opportunity to do damage and a potential advantage. It means you should rather improve your position when you don't have an ample opportunity to do damage.
